My first order with Chewy included this plush toy. I thought it had a squeaker (it does not) and it is too big for my tiny Pom to take interest in. I offered to return it in its original packaging, but Chewy just waived it and gave me a refund with no need to return - just donate they said. I am now a satisfied customer of Chewy.com and will be buying from them again.
My dog loses his head when he sees them outside. So I figured getting him one to attack and destroy would be appealing. I WAS WRONG. I have tried to peak interest by hanging it so he could dive bomb attack hide it with the tail sticking out. He knows the difference and has no interest in this non living taunting squirrel.
My dog loves to bark at squirrels so I had to get this for him. He loved it, but it only lasted two days, and hes not even a crazy chewer. Probably not worth the money, but it was fun while it lasted.
our dog knows the word "squirrel" and is obsessed! he sees cats (not interested), birds (not interested, but squirrels he absolutely goes NUTS! we hid this in our back fence and let our dog out and said "squirrel" - he instantly saw it and took off and grabbed it and was so proud that he actually caught this one! but unfortunately he is a pit lab mix and he tore it after I left him alone with it after ONE DAY!
It was the reaction of my dog when I put it outside under the tree where the real squirrel hangs out! Khan was so proud that he had caught one!!
Sophie loved playing either squirrel but unfortunately after we played with for about 15 minutes the the stuffing busted out.
I purchased this toy knowing my dog would love it but my brother bought the same toy as gift.....returning mine.
My large dogs like this toy. And it has held up very well.
When we saw this for our dog we KNEW we had to have it. She was obsessed with it as soon as she saw it, squirrel watching is her favorite. We ordered August 17th and it was delivered the 18th. Today is the 20th and it’s been ripped open and destuffed. I have a dog who isn’t happy and it sucks I wasted money on the cute thing. Should have let my 2 year old keep it instead like she wanted, would have lasted a lot longer. Going to try and sew it back up and see what happens. Don’t waste the money on it.
Our Frenchie loved it. She discovered squirrels this year and goes wild running them up trees. So she has one to chew on now.
