Important Information

Fleas rise to the top of your pet's coat as they die, so consider it a triumph if you start seeing more fleas at first, after treating your pet. If you’re still seeing fleas after application, it may be because your pet has picked up new fleas from the environment, which may include other pets, surfaces and outdoor areas. It may take up to 30 days to break the entire flea life cycle. Additionally, you should also treat sources of new fleas (i.e., carpet, yard, etc.) to ensure complete flea control.

Does the flea have to bite my cat to die? How does this product work
Answer by ChewySep 01, 2017
This product does not require the flea to actually penetrate your pet's skin in order for the product to take effect, but it will take up to 24 hours to work after applying the solution.

I applied sentry plus on my cats 2 days ago and I’m still seeing live fleas what do I do?
Answer by ChewyAug 09, 2018
It's recommended to also treat your home and yard while you're treating your cat to prevent reinfestation.

Is this made in USA

If a give my cat a bath on the 3 day after application, will it still be effective or do I need to reapply?

Repels mosquitos too!

We bought this because it is the ONLY spot-on product that I could find that repels mosquitos. My kitty will not stand for the spray-on type of repellent that I would have to spray on her every other day- don’t blame her! I will review again in July if my Izzy’s ears and nose are or aren’t covered in mosquito bites!

Fast acting!

My cat is an indoor cat so didn't think flees were a problem. He started scratching like crazy. I didn't see any flees, communicated with a vet through Chewy and she recommended this product and a few others to help heal his skin. I used all 3 products and solved the problem in no time!!

Works for some

I have a few cats and I decided to buy a few different brands to see what worked best. I am finding that what works on one cat does not work on another. I used this on 3 different cats. 2 it worked great on, one it only worked for a couple of days. I am learning that you have to do trial and error and see what works for each cat.

Purrfection

The cats didn't mind the application... Whereas with the brand that I used to use they would fight me tooth and nail

Great for the price

I read a bunch of reviews on this product and all the other products. This will not work alone for an infestation. Also ever topical flea treatment says for an infestation use no more than every 7 days ... thats right guys you have to do it every week. Here is how you get rid of fleas. First clean all of your bedding. Take everything fabric down and then get a raid spray and treat all immobile fabric furniture then seal everything you can. You have to lock the cats up for this. Shave your cat. Yep that sounds terrible but let me tell you it works. They have nothing to hang onto. Then bathe them but do not use topical treatment same day. Wait 24 to 48hrs to apply. They must be completely dry. Also it has to be applied directly to the skin. Wash everything every week keep vacuuming and repeat steps. Shaving them will make the biggest difference.
