Are the seeds in this Non-Gmo/organic?

Are the 4 varieties of seeds sorted out or are they mixed together?

The manufacturer has updated this refill kit to include a single seed package containing all 4 seed varieties.

How big are the pellets once expanded? I bought this months ago, I saved some seeds but the soil got moldy. I want to buy just pellets but didn't realize there are different sizes.

These pellets are approximately 36 millimeters. When expanded they are approximately 3 inches.

Is this safe for guinea pigs?

This is the refill kit for the SmartCat Kitty's Garden. It is safe for small animals such as guinea pigs and contains 100% organic oats, wheat, barley and rye. Please check with your veterinarian to ensure your pet can eat grass.

Watch Cats with Cat Grass!

I've purchased this kit and refills 2x now. Both times, the substrate turns moldy, and I am VERY careful not to overwater. My cat loved it, but I also noticed

I've purchased this kit and refills 2x now. Both times, the substrate turns moldy, and I am VERY careful not to overwater. My cat loved it, but I also noticed that he was pooping out entire in-tact strands of grass, like it didn't digest properly. I had to stop giving it to him b/c I was worried it would cause a blockage or something. I like the product overall, but would recommend cutting off small pieces for your cat rather than letting them have unsupervised access to the whole plant.

The life of the grass...

My cat loves the grass. It is easy to plant and grow. However, it doesn't last long! I'm not sure if it is my lack agricultural skills or the lack of heartiness

Claudine enjoys it, but it is kinda messy getting it prepared and then when she's eating pulls out the little pockets. I had to tie it in to the wooden box. Maybe

My refill have live bugs inside the package.

The lot number on the package is 0525. Test germination 90%. So far I've only found one package in my order.

The product is fine

Seeds sprouted in just a few days and the tray is full now. I bought them only because they had barley & Rye seeds in the mix. My cat doesn't eat oat or wheat grass

Seeds sprouted in just a few days and the tray is full now. I bought them only because they had barley & Rye seeds in the mix. My cat doesn't eat oat or wheat grass. But I think that's all that grew. It all looks the same and my cat has zero interest. I tried tearing a blade in half so he could smell the green, but no interest. I don't know if barley or Rye would interest him either. I can't tell what's what.

I bought this on a whim awhile back and every since my cats have had it they love it! It comes with the cute holder so now we just buy the refills and it does grow
