Wish I know this cat food earlier
I have two cats and one of them has very sensitive digest system. I used to feed them with another brand, and one of them always threw up every other day in the morning. This situation last about two years and I took him to the doctor several times, but it didn’t work out. I’ve tried to feed him can food only, but still he vomits every other day. I did many research about the ingredients of many brands of cat foods. Now, I finally settle down with the right one! This cat food is a real game changer!!! My cat now doesn’t threw up at all, and he can eat variety of foods now since his digest system improved a lot. This also totally changed my life since he was always hungry and tried to steal human foods which really bothers me at the old days. Also, I don’t have to clean up the mess every time I wake up in the morning! I highly recommend this cat food if you have similar situation. Every time when I think about how I let my cat suffered from vomiting of eating wrong brands of cat foods, my heart is full of regrets. Thankfully, I can say goodbye forever to that.
Great for food sensitivities
My cat has a difficult time with grains, legumes, and potatoes (which cats don't really need in the first place), so this is perfect for him. We initially thought he had a chicken allergy, but once we switched him to this food a month ago, nearly all of his digestive problems went away.
Turkey and Chicken formula Reaks of Dead Fish
I am unable to get my usual high protein chicken cat food. I looked at the ingredients and nutritional list that (also excludes peas & legumes) and thought wow, thats a great product. My animals hate it and refuse eat it even mixed in with their old food. I hate it because their food area stinks like dead fish. I hate it even more that I am out $60 bucks. Beware of the fish meal ingredient in this product, its really pungent.
Poultry-only cat approved
My cat is kind of picky and only likes poultry flavors. I switched to this food because the lentils/chickpeas used as filler in her previous dry food were causing her to throw up. Definitely recommend slowly introducing the food as the package instructs. I had no problem switching her over the course of a week. She really loves these kibbles! Prefers them to her wet food even.
Both Cats Will NOT even go near this food. They would rather starve than eat it
I really wanted to like this food. The ingredients are really good and seemed like a good option. I have a kitty with a sensitive tummy, and I am trying to find a food that works for him. Both my cats have NEVER been picky eaters. They eat whatever. However they will not TOUCH this stuff. I followed normal guidance when switching food for cats and put just a little in the bowl at a time for them mixed with their old food. They just constantly ate around it and would only eat their old food. When I finally only put the Square Pet in the bowl, they literally refused to eat and preferred to starve! I am not sure what the problem is. One thing that is very different is kibble size. It is SUPER TINY!! It is probably less than 1/2 the size of a pea. I want to say only slightly bigger than the size of a pin head, but maybe not that small, but it is weirdly small. I wish they would have liked this. 3 stars for ingredients, but that is about it. Maybe your cats will like it.
My Cats Love This!
I was given several samples of this Square Pet dry food for my cats, Laila & Luci. They’ve loved it from their first time tasting it. They eat it every day, so now I purchase this large bag size. The ingredients are all of the good foods and nutrients you’d like your cat to eat and enjoy.
Finicky cat approved
My cat is not a big fan of dry kibble however I prefer to give Merlin a higher quality kibble to cut back on giving him so many unhealthy cat treats that are loaded with too many fillers. I put this kibble in food puzzles or a treat toy to stimulate his foraging and hunting skills. My cat seems very content with this. If my cat is happy I am happy.
My cats went ham for this right away!
Of course I'm transitioning my cats slowly from their old kibble but even the 2 picky ones always try to pick out the SquarePet kibble first. I also love how small the kibble pieces are.
Great Formula
This dry food has excellent ingredients and my cats will eat it.
