Tetra EasyStrips 6-in-1 Freshwater & Saltwater Aquarium Test Strips

If you want great accuracy then don't buy these and spend some money on a more expensive (API Mater Test Kit) or get an electronic water tester (multiparameter device if you want to drop some serious cash). Otherwise, this is great for its intended purpose of giving you an idea of where your water parameters are real quick.

I have been keeping fish for a long time now and these are the very first test strips that I have ever tried. I'm actually shocked that so many have rated this product so highly. One of the most important parameters you check in your aquarium is Nitrate. And I would say it's the most inaccurate part on the entire test strip. The KH & PH is hard to read honestly. Checking this against the API kit my nitrates where at about 40 but on the strip it was off the chart. And the only reason my Nitrates where that high was because I was treating my tank for ick. These make it very easy to monitor the water conditions without buying and getting out a bunch of test kits. They seem to be fairly accurate as well

This is a quick test for before and after water changes/ Once you understand what to do with the information and adjust the water parameters as needed it is an effective tool for the hobby.

These work as expected and for the price you can't really go wrong. I think I now have a lifetime supply!

I switched to these dip strips a couple years ago when my (then 7 year old) son got his own tank. The accuracy is comparable to the full spectrum test kit I was using, and it was very easy for my child to use and interpret the results himself. We have repurchased many times. I highly recommend you tear off the color chart and tape it to an index card, completely covering it in clear box tape. It is nearly impossible to keep the paper dry otherwise. Your welcome.

My only issue with these strips is that sometimes the color is way to similar to each other and it makes it hard to read

Axolotls are VERY sensitive to water changes and need a specific habitat. These have been an absolute must in making sure that all of their requirements are being met.
