    Very Pleased!

By Chris on Dec 2, 2021

I wish I had tried Chewy.com earlier. I've always had a hard time finding the Tetra Pond Flakes at my local Pet Store. I no longer have to worry about that. I will be ordering from Chewy.com for all my pet supplies and their prices are very reasonable.

FAKE COLORS!! Wrong ingredients listed on this site

By Brooke on Apr 28, 2020

First off - I am not feeding these to my fish directly, instead I use flakes as food for my worms that I feed my fish. Chewy lists the below ingredients, but when I look at the container, it lists different ingredients and LOTS of fake colors. As I write this, Chewy has no pics of the ingredients on First off - I am not feeding these to my fish directly, instead I use flakes as food for my worms that I feed my fish. Chewy lists the below ingredients, but when I look at the container, it lists different ingredients and LOTS of fake colors. As I write this, Chewy has no pics of the ingredients on the bottle either. I refuse to feed my animals any fake colors. Luckily this was cheap, so no money wasted and it isn't worth returning. I'm going to try to donate it to a local fish rescue. If it had the ingredients listed minus the fake color, I would consider it a decent food. Not the best, but edible. See my pic attached of the actual ingredients. The site lists - Fish Meal, Ground Brown Rice, Wheat Germ Meal, Feeding Oat Meal, Shrimp Meal, Potato Protein, Dried Yeast, Wheat Gluten, Fish Oil, Soybean Oil, Wheat Flour, Lecithin, Sorbitol, Dehulled Soybean Oil, Algae Meal, Yeast Extract, Ascorbic Acid, Inositol, Niacin, L-Ascorbyl 2 Polyphosphate, A-Tocopherol Acetate, Riboflavin 5 Phosphate, D-Calcium Pantothenate, Thiamine Mononitrate, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride, Vitamin A Palmitate, Menadione Sodium Bisulfite Complex, Biotin, Vitamin B12 Supplement, Cholecalciferol … more

    Baby goldfish love this food

    By on

I use this to feed the babies as they are too small to be able to grab pellets. The flakes stay on the surface which allows the smaller fish to be able to grab them before sinking. It is always eaten within a minute from distributing.

    By on

why did the price of this product go from $3,29 in April 21 to $8.99 now? seems a bit extreme of an increase!

    Pretty good fish food

This food seems alright compared to comparable pet fish foods, and better than a lot of them. More natural foods and fewer alcohol sugars, colors, and chemicals would be preferred. Also, it had a good price when first ordered, but when I came back to order more about a week later, it was nearly 3 times the price so I did not re-order it. The hope is that since there is no algae for them to eat, this will help them mature and go on their normal way. They eat most of it quickly, but don't seem to like the white flakes (fortunately, there are only a few of the white ones). Some of the flakes will sink if not eaten in several minutes, which is okay since tadpoles will eat it from the bottom as well as floating food. … more

    Great food!

This floating food is perfect for our baby koi. The big ones crowd them out.

    Fish love these

    By on

My pond goldfish prefer the flakes to anything else. It's a good food for the baby fish because the adults get the stick food so fast!

    Small fish flakes

I don't like how fast it sinks. It's not appealing to me and the fish don't care for it much

Easy to use. The fish love it. Easy to make the flakes smaller for smaller fish.
