Odorcide Laundry is safe for use in all washing machines, high efficiency as well as front/top loaders. It can be added directly with the detergent or during the auto-soak cycle. Odorcide Laundry is an additive, not a detergent, and is safe for use with detergents, fabric softeners and other laundry additives.

I let a cat urine-soaked towel sit in water, adequate water, and the recommended amount of this stuff for two hours before washing. After the cycle was done, there was indeed a difference. Now the towel smelled like a wet peed-on towel. After drying, it smelled pretty much the same as it did going in, the only change was that the towel was less stiff. I will try again and soak overnight, but if that doesn't help, I am throwing out the towel and this stuff with it!

If you’re sensitive to smells then I would stay away from this formula. It has a very strong and clean smell of laundry detergent gone overboard. As far as getting

If you’re sensitive to smells then I would stay away from this formula. It has a very strong and clean smell of laundry detergent gone overboard. As far as getting rid of odors, I used it on old dog blankets and beds that had a bit of a stale funk and it knocked the scent out with one wash. The scent did linger after drying.
