Very steady, cardboard is thick enough to hold two cats. I am impressed with the house. I have purchased others and this one has exceeded my expectations. I would recommend this house to anyone to has a cat that loves to scratch and hide. I will be purchasing another one as Athena(house cat) thinks that this one is just hers and when her brother Orion(maincoon) tries to go in with her she smacks him in the head. I guess she wants to live alone. When I purchase the second one I will be covering the hole in the center of the house so that Orion has room to lay on the second floor as he is to big to fit through the hole.
I purchased this to replace our larger cat tree. I was concerned with the strength of the cardboard but this house does not disappoint. My cats love this scratcher. They are all over it day and night. I did have to reinforce the top and sides as my cats are pretty rough players. I highly recommend this for your cats. Photo taken before we added the tape.
I am amazed at how well this cardboard house has held up to my 9month old kitten's abuse! He absolutely loves this thing.....sleeps on/in it, plays on it and loves to chew off pieces and spit them all over my floor. So funny and just requires me to do some extra sweeping! This house is very well made.
I was a little worried about stability because my cats are a little hefty, my largest being 14 lbs (pictured). But it is very stable easy to put together. We are going to decorate with stickers to make it unique to our home. The hole inside that goes from bottom to top is unnecessary and a little small for my guys. I had and extra scratching board to put in there to cover hole and its perfect. Good purchase.
I have three cats, ages 2-9, only one has had any interest in the house. I think this is best for kittens who are super playful and will be able to move around easily in this. It is cute but I dont see it getting used much
See the kitty in the house that could be mine. We have two cats who love it. When we first started putting together we wondered what we got because it took some time to figure out. But it is holdingup well, and my cat's are a good size. Would I buy it again. Yes I would.
This was easy to put together and holds up to my very sturdy cats! If you are on the fence - buy it - it is the fun of a cardboard box but so much better looking!
From the moment we assembled this it became THE favorite of my three cats. They play, sleep and chase each other through it. When they wear this out I will purchase another similar one as cats do get bored. It is easy to assemble and suprisingly sturdy.
After he warmed up to it he gets in it all the time. He rubs it claws it and lays in it. He treats it like his safe place too which makes me happy that he feels secure in it without hiding somewhere I can’t find him.
Both of my cats love this. 1 cat is 15 lb and the other is 8 lb. Plenty of room for 15 lb guy to spread out on 1st floor. Neither cat uses the hole between 1st & 2nd floor. Assembly was pretty straightforward.
