I usually buy a different brand of this product but it was out of stock so I ordered this instead. My cats seem to like it just as much as the other brand and hopefully it works as well, and it was even cheaper than the other brand for the same amount. I would definitely recommend it.
I don’t have a picky cat but he likes the flavor. I started giving this to him for some pretty inflamed chin acne he was dealing with. Saw the vet, washed bowls every day, cleaned under his chin twice a day, nothing helped. Switched to a mostly limited ingredient diet, that seemed to lessen things! Then I started adding this in and he’s not getting the acne anymore. I personally take l-lysine daily, I love the straight forward ingredients and chicken flavor makes it very easy to give. I sprinkle over his dry food, even; but it of course mixes better into the canned food.
Really helps my kitty with Feline aids. I have two cats and one who is more effected by it than the other, but I give it to both of them. It has really helped my smaller kitty perk up, she hasn’t been sickly and seems happier with more energy. She is back to her spunky self and you can just tell she feels better after months of her being sick. I have been giving it to them consistently for about 3 weeks now so if you have trouble with kitties with immune issues (like feline HIV or aids) i highly highly recommend you try this for your cats. It dissolves easily into water with some wet food, and the water/wet food combo is great for their kidneys. Win win! Love this stuff!
My cat Bella, has struggled with a watery eye and frequent sneezing. I’ve tried pill supplements, respiratory health treats and nothing seemed to help. Finally I decided to try this, I just sprinkle the recommended amount in with her wet food and she eats it right up!! Her consistent watery eye hasn’t been back since I began giving her this immune support powder. She’s also been having less sneezing fits. I’m not only amazed at how effective this is, but how affordable and Bella easily eats it up. I never leave reviews, but I hope this helps a fellow goopy eyed cat owner. 10/10 recommend trying
My cat is a 12 year old, female Himalayan. She started showing signs of some sort of fungal infection all over her body, but especially her face and eyes, about a year ago. First I was told it was ringworm and she was put on an anti fungal medication. Nothing was working and the infection wouldn’t go away. I took her to another vet who figured out it was a really bad candida (yeast) infection but could not quite figure out why it was happening. We finally found a cancerous growth about 5 months ago and had it removed. Vet said the type type of cancer wouldn’t metastasize and she wasn’t at risk but still, the infection wasn’t clearing. For over a year she has had to live a miserable life wearing a cone or donut 24/7 to ensure that she wouldn’t scratch her eyes and ears and cause wounds. She’s been on anti fungal (which can cause organ failure used for too long) and it just wasn’t getting better. I bought this product along with a probiotic food and vitamin D to build her immune system back up. I started her on this particular product 5 days ago and she’s been cone free for three of those five days. Her eyes and ears are clearing up, her energy and personality is back, and she’s back to living a normal life without a contraption stuck to her head. This is definitely giving her immune system the boost it needs.
honestly not sure how well this stuff works? i bought it bc it has good reviews and i’m trying to add healthy stuff to my cats food but i haven’t noticed a difference in their overall well-being energy levels or mood. probably not worth for the price unless prescribed by a vet
I knew I would have to stock up on a reliable food (one that my cat wlll normally slurp up in a flash) to get this product into her. Bought many boxes of Lil Soups...discovered immediately that this product does not. Instantly dissolve, but it chunks up into a kind of solid glaze...tap with a spoon glaze. Had to break it up before serving. Not only does Piaf now eat only about half of the soup (and no longer with any thrill), but she becomes "not herself" for hours afterwards. She is the most companionable of cats, but after ingesting this product, she becomes aloof, looks uncomfortable. Hours later, she is back to her usual self, until the next round. There are so many high ratings that I did not pay attention to the critical ones. I am, of course, no longer giving it to her, but she may never trust Lil Soups again.
my cats didn’t really like it at first since it doesn’t really dissolve well and it smells super strongly of fish. after awhile they’ll eat it but a lot of the time they end up vomiting. their allergies have cleared up some, but i may just have to try a different brand
My vet recommended that I give this to my kitties, who have ongoing respiratory problems due to their unfortunate developmental issues. I was sure they would walk away from it, but I mixed it in a little bit of Fancy Feast Savory Chicken, in the tube, and they devoured it. Fingers crossed that it gives them some relief from their chronic colds.
So this was really good it help my cat from not coughing
