Agree with Comment That Triumph Turkey Quality Has Fallen Recently

    By on

This has been our go to cat food for a few years now, and has been great until last batch. Lots of gelatinous material intermixed with the cat food. Never used to be any. A little would be fine but it was heavily marbled with aspic in every can (bought 3 cases). : ( Triumph please go back to your prior excellent quality!

    What happened to the quality??

    By on

I have been feeding this brand to my cats for years, but the quality of the cans I have gotten in my last few orders have gone down hill considerably. The turkey in particular is nasty. The food is pulled away from the sides of the cans, sitting in mostly water. Two out of my five cats have developed gastrointestinal issues directly related to this food. (I know for sure it's the food based on their symptoms when they eat it, and when they don't eat it). One was vomiting and the other had diarrhea until I stopped feeding them this. I tried feeding it to them again, and the symptoms came right back. It's a shame because it really used to be good quality food for a reasonable price. She Doesn't Eat it!

    By on Top 250 Contributor

I bought this one because she does like the Chicken Formula from the Triumph brand. This Turkey Formula food looks good. It's even wetter and smoother than the Chicken Formula one, but she won't eat it.

Good alternative to Friskies DISCONTINUED big cans!

    By on

I am happy to have found a pretty good alternative to Purina's Friskies Turkey & Giblets Pate 13 oz cans which they DISCONTINUED WITHOUT EVERY ASKING THEIR VERY LOYAL CUSTOMERS WHAT WE THINK - (THANK YOU PURINA - WE ARE GOING ELSEWHERE!) -and left many people that feed more than two cats scrambling for something similar and affordable. My cats really like it. The strays like it. It is a tad bit pasty so I have to mix it into the dry food, but over all it is good and MADE IN AMERICA! Ingredients seem ok too - no meat-or-chicken-by-products.

    Good and Cheap Food

    By on

The price is great, the ingredients are good, and my sensitive kitty can eat it without throwing up or getting hot spots. However, she doesn't like it that much. She will eat it, but more slowly and reluctantly than many other things, including Triumph Chicken and Liver. I guess I'll stick with the chicken, then.

    Looks ok For the price

    By on

The ingredients in this brand look all right, and the price is good, but the cats aren’t crazy about it.

    Cheap product for cheap price

    By on

My cats were fosters & were given the Triumph brand. Once we adopted them I thought I would try it out. The can has a lot of gelatin substance in it. The pate is not a solid chunk but somehow split/broken in the can. The picky of the boys won't eat it.

    Paws down from five cats

    By on

Five cats refuse to eat the Triumph brand both turkey and chicken and liver formulas. I need to find something else to replace the discontinued brand I had been using for many years.

    Four cans badly dented.

    By on

I threw them out. I can't feed my cats food from damaged cans. What a waste.
