I haven't been able to use it on my cat Candy yet. She is very ski-dish and wont let me touch her eyes. She has feline Herpes Virus and her eyes bad. Ive treated her with L-Lysine for years, but it doesn't seem to help much anymore.
This really seems to make my dog's eyes feel better. He has developed dry eye in both his eyes as he has aged. I can't say he likes getting the wash put in his eyes but he seems to feel better and not fight me as much as he used to with the last eye drops I used. I think these are actually soothing.
I have a cat who requires daily eye cleaning and will for the rest of her life. Other cleaners seem to burn her when using them. While she still fights me like her life depends on it, to avoid cleanings, she at least is not hurting after I clean them. For that I am thankful.
Been using for a few weeks on my shih tzu and it helped a lot to lessen the crusty goop in her eye. I do recommend.
My dog’s poor eyes were always dripping dark, goopy, staining stuff and all that’s stopped. This eye solution cured the problem and she doesn’t even mind me using it. (I think she knows it’s helping)
I tried Vetericyn & I am not happy with the results. Dr's Foster & Smith had a much better eye wash that I cannot find since they went out of business.
I’ve been trying to help a little one’s eyes clean prior to her grooming and wipes of all sorts with combs haven’t worked. This seems to be working the best. It’s an eye wash, but it seems to work better for her using a soft tissue and comb to get the dribbles out. After using and drying for several hours, her red eyes are toward white again. It’s been the easiest and most effective, but looking forward to a “beauty shop” day.
Absolutely perfect. Took care of my Kangal's pink eye last year in 3 days flat. Works great for my Samoyed annually for her allergies during pollen season. She doesn't resist as I give her the drops, and is obviously happier after I do.
So great to have on hand. TX is dusty/dry. Great to relieve red itchy eyes. Dog's reaction gives me confidence that I've done a good thing for my "best friend".
One of my cats has a recurring conjunctivitis problem due to severe allergies. Its random in both eyes (not at the same time) but often occurs during weather changes in fall and spring - we call it 'goopy eye' at my house. This is always in my cupboard and an immediate go to to clean out the stuff from his eyes. Believe me, it really does get stuff out from the eye (to the point it's gross sometimes). I usually pair this with the Veteticyn Antimicrobial Ophthalmic Pet Gel or the antibiotic ointment. Everything usually clears up in a few days and it seems to relieve some discomfort he has - he doesn't seem to want to rub his eye on anything. Highly recommend to any pet parent who has this problem with one of their pets.
