Simply AMAZING...

We recently got a stray kitten that was badly sick, we brought her in & it was a battle, but she pulled thru, she's a tough little thing, but she had gotten sick, sneezing with runny eyes, we thought maybe she just had a cold, but then the sneezing stopped & she was congested & lethargic, so we contacted Chewy's vet service & the vet came up with solution, but also stressed that if it didn't clear up in a few days to take her to a local vet...they sent a copy of the diagnosis & treatment recommendations to my email, we followed the vets treatment plan which included this product & within 2-3 day the kitten was ZOOMING all around the house, happy & healthy again...she gets along with our grown cats do well now, we decided to keep her, I know this is long, but wanted to let people know that Chewys vet service is SUPER awesome & if you have autoships it's FREE & definitely worth the call...thanks so much to the vet & Chewy for this service...

hard chews!

My vet suggested I try a Lysine product for our new kitten. He has an ongoing eye issue with his right eye being very watery at times. He's very healthy otherwise. The 'soft' chews are very hard and difficult to eat for a kitten. Even after cutting the chew in several smaller pieces, our kitten would not eat them. Our 11-year-old cat even had a difficult time eating the chews. He gets an extra treat now every day. Will try the powder form for our kitten.

Cat loves them. Works great

My cat has always had herpes since he was 8 weeks old. Always had eye issues. He has to take 1000mg of lysine a day as it helps with his eyes. The last lysine product he loved was discontinued. I tried several brands but he didn't like them. He loves these. They are hard but that is good for his teeth I feel. I am so glad I found a product he eats like treats.

Seems to be helping

My vet recommended for my kittens. 2 of the 3 will eat them. Their coats are shiny & their eyes have less discharge/ irritation. These are the two that need it most, so I am happy to be seeing some results. I have to break the chews up, because it is hard & they still have their baby teeth.

Elderly Cat Approved

Our 21 year old cat loves these! She was indifferent to the other forms of Lysine. This particular brand has the recommended daily amount. Cheaper brands may not. She has battled with eye infections for a year and we started feeding these to her. Vet care cleared up the issues and I believe these chews are maintaining her health.

A staple in my house!

I love how these combine DMG and Lysine in one easy to administer chew. Some of my cats will eat these whole, but others will only eat them if I cut them up and add them to their food. These do seem to help with immune support, so I have all of my cats on this supplement - both young and old.

Cat Refuses to Eat These

My cat refuses to eat these treats. They are quite large in size and a really odd texture. I've tried breaking the treat up, etc and he still refuses to eat them. I would recommend folks to look at lysine powder that can be mixed into food if their cat is finnicky with treats.

Formula change?

I have been buying this for about 6 months. My cat was sniffling and sneezing but the vet did not find any signs of illness. I added this chew per the package instructions and within a few weeks the sneezing and sniffling was mostly gone. Unfortunately the last two packages my cat would no longer eat these treats. My other cat will so I’ll finish these packages but now need to switch to a new immune supplement as the sneezing is increasing again.

Lysine supplement

Vet recommended Lysine to help my cat's respiratory symptoms. He gave me a paste form, which was hard to dose Pete with. These are treats, and the cat thinks they are treats, and it has helped a lot.

Cats love them

My cats are pretty picky about their lysine treats. Chewy stopped carrying the other one they loved so I got these and they actually really like them!
