As with any pet product not intended for human consumption, please keep out of reach of children and wash hands after handling.
The oral hygiene benefit can only be achieved by adequate chewing action. Gulping whole chews will reduce the chew's efficacy. Ensure your dog receives the right-sized product for their body weight and limit giving the chews to times when you are able to observe your dog.
This product is intended for intermittent or supplemental feeding only.

Our dog loves these
By Nancy on Jan 29, 2021
These Virbac crunchy chews are the right size for our dog. They're big enough for him to see that we have one in our hand and he comes right away to us to get it! They're small enough for him to get satisfaction from "making it go away", rather than hiding it behind a cushion or under a rug. Glad we purchased them.

Dental Dog Chews
By Bubba on Feb 9, 2021
He liked the first couple that I gave him but now he turns his nose up at them. I don't know if it is because of lack of taste or if they are too hard for him since he has lost about 13 teeth last month through dental work that was done.

Great for cleaning teeth
By NickiO on Jan 14, 2021
My dogs aren't fond of me using a toothbrush on them however they do like the enzymatic toothpaste that I rub on their teeth. These chews have the same product on them so my dogs now think they're getting a yummy treat every morning! I have never had any issues with them choking on them either as they are nothing like rawhide chews.

Virbac dental -not recommended for smaller dogs
By Diane on Dec 26, 2020
I wish I had read the reviews. I have two small yorkies and purchased for them. Years ago I used these first my other Yorkie but they have changed a lot. They were thinner and pliable. You could break them easily in half. They are as hard as a brick and there is no way I would give these to my dogs. I would fear they would choke. I will be donating to a shelter where a larger dog would be able to safely use.

Chopped rawhide strips
By Karen on Jan 5, 2021
I may have missed it in the description, but I didn't realize this was chopped rawhide. I don't like to give my dogs rawhide in any form because they are so little (chihuahuas). Certainly, these would be fine for dogs a bit bigger (or owners not so concerned about rawhide).

Great for teeth and a healthy treat
By Winniemum on Feb 19, 2021
After our vet recommended this post a dental cleaning, we offered it to our little dog. She is happy and tosses one of these around in play between munches.

Apparent taste
By Nance on Dec 2, 2020
My two dogs alway get chewy things. No soft dog food. I know that a dog’s life depends on their teeth and thus digestion. My groomer cleans their teeth and removes plaque every 4-6 weeks. So this product was purchased to aid I. The cleaning of their teeth. My two dogs apparently like them. No complaints or leaving them hidden somewhere. More time will tell, but right at this point I am impressed by the increase in cleaning results

Very Disappointing
By Sheltiegal on Nov 17, 2020
I have been giving my dogs the Virbac CET chews for over ten years. I was thrilled when they came out with the small size because I use to give my Shelties the mediums. At first they were pretty good, small and nice and thin, just like my dogs like. The last few bags I have received have had such huge and thick chews in them. Some of them are so thick I have given them to my son's Labrador Retriever. My Shelties like the thin cut chews, the way they used to be. The small ones are bigger than the medium sized ones I use to get. Until they start making them the way they use to, I am not ordering any more.

My picky pug
By Sarie1998 on Feb 7, 2021
Unfortunately he wouldn’t chomp on it. Maybe if it was meat or cheese flavored he would of but it seems to be flavorless and he wasn’t going for it. Can I return?

Not the same anymore
By Chloe on Nov 27, 2020
I have been buying these chews for around 10 years for my Rhodesian and my Corgi. It is sad because the quality has continued to go down while the price keeps going up. These used to be all the same size and thickness and my dogs went insane for them! However, now they are so different many come through so thick I have to throw them away or give to the shelter for the really big dogs. I have an entire large bag full of ones I can not give my dogs due to the thickness. I struggle with buying these until QA can ensure a more uniformed product again.
