Description

Allergic Dermatitis is characterized by excessive itching that results from an underlying condition such as allergies, parasites, or skin infection. Virbac offers The Epi-Soothe Shampoo for use in pets to alleviate allergic dermatitis. Contains Spherulites Microcapsules, an exclusive encapsulation system, in a natural oat-grain derivative, soap-free shampoo. Key Benefits
  • A natural oat-grain derived, soap free shampoo for soothing and cleansing dry, sensitive skin.

Really like the shampoo. Lathers up nicely and really seems to decrease the itching. Think I will also order the conditioner too.

  • Makes A World Of Difference

    By on

My Labrador has skin allergies to bug bites and with combined allergy therapy (Cytopoint), the 4HC shampoo and this shampoo it has made so much of a difference. You have to keep on it if allergies are bad. Wash 2-3 times a week if needed, I washed my dog on Wednesday and repeated today and noticed significant improvement in his skin condition. I wish I could by quart size

  • I had High Hopes

    By on

I had very high hopes for this shampoo and matching cream rinse. Sadly it didn't help my dog with her itching problem, it seems she is even itchier now after the bath. But that could just be because her skin was so dry to begin with. I won't be buying again. On to the next brand...

  • Great shampoo

I wash my dog once a week since I’m a full time RVer and want to keep our tiny space clean. She had been using this shampoo since I got her from the pound March of 2016. Her fur is soft, shiny and never itchy from over washing. Love this product!

  • Pawsome!!!

My kitten has sensitive skin and this shampoo is perfect. Along with the cream rinse, it leaves her fur clean, soft, and shiny. She loves baths so it's no problem for us. She smells wonderful afterwards! The scent is long-lasting, at least on my kitty.

  • The absolute best!!

    By on

This shampoo goes SUCH a long ways!! Our dog is huge and has SO much hair and it usually takes at least half a bottle to fully shampoo her 2 times, but not with this!! Her coat looks amazing and she’s not scratching her skin from her allergies as much!

  • Great shampoo!

My dog has had a yeast infection on his skin for a very long time. Since I have used this shampoo it is under control. He doesn't get that awful smell when it's time for a bath. I recommend this for any dog with skin issues!

  • Good for Soothing

    By on

Our Lab has some tough summer skin issues, probably a combination of Flea Allergy Dermititis and some other heat related skin issues. Bottom line she gets sores on her belly, itchy bumps on her rump and generally is pitiful. Episoothe was recommended by the vet some time back and it has worked well. It cleans deeply in that second layer of Labrador fur and washes out completely. It has a mild scent too. Best of all it seems to soothe her hot spots and itchy bumps enough that she leaves them alone enough to heal. It can be used daily, although we do weekly.

  • Not sure if it is the shampoo that helps

    By on

I used the soothing cream on my dog and that seems to help his itching. It smells fine and does lather well. You are supposed to leave it on for 10 minutes...I get pretty close to the amt of time.
