filters leak black sediment

the only filters available for this model leak, black sediment (charcoal). Besides the fact that I don't like grey water, charcoal is a binder and can cause medications

the only filters available for this model leak, black sediment (charcoal). Besides the fact that I don't like grey water, charcoal is a binder and can cause medications to be less effective. If you use it without the filters the water needs to be changed every day to avoid bacterial build up. Such a waste.

Cats are crazy about the smell but doesn't seem to calm them down

My senior cat went through a lot of health issues recently and the frequent vet visits and procedures really stressed him out so much to the point he got an idiopathic

My senior cat went through a lot of health issues recently and the frequent vet visits and procedures really stressed him out so much to the point he got an idiopathic UTI episode. Went through all tests and couldn't find anything meaningful so I was hoping this diffuser would make him feel more relaxing at home with the other cat. Both cats loved the smell so much and always wanted to lick the container - I guess it's the catnip inside the container that makes them high. Other than that, I didn't see any changes to my cats' behaviors. FYI, they have no response to the Feliway spray either.

Great idea

I first discovered this at my vet's office. She pulled it out when my kitty was acting stressed. It does smell like catnip so if your cat is a fan they should respond

I first discovered this at my vet's office. She pulled it out when my kitty was acting stressed. It does smell like catnip so if your cat is a fan they should respond. I also use the plugs ins but this is great because you can use it anywhere and also in the car. Highly recommend!

Didn't notice a difference

I used feliway plug ins when we first brought Ricky Bobby home and she was being a bit aggressive to Ninja, our older cat. They worked, but I wanted to try something

Did not help with bullying; diffuser works better for us

I was excited for this, but it didn't work for us. We took in a former feral last year and he's been bullying and menacing our smaller tortie girl at night. Even

I was excited for this, but it didn't work for us. We took in a former feral last year and he's been bullying and menacing our smaller tortie girl at night. Even when I'd stick it in his face while he was locked in on her, it would only distract him for a moment. Instead, I'd recommend the red multicat Feliway pheromone diffuser! The former feral is less skittish, stays out and about more, is less chompy when you pet him, and most importantly, has only half-heartedly menaced our other kitty once!

Not sure if it worked very well, kitten was still pretty anxious to be in a new house. But she did adjust fairly well after just 3 days, so maybe it helped?
