About Wagner's Bird Food
Wagner's Wild Bird Food
Wagner's has a simple philosophy when it comes to feeding wild birds—feed them the seeds they like. And they make it easy for bird watchers to keep their feeders busy with a wide variety of premium, specialty, deluxe and value blends. Wagner's seed mixes are made with only the cleanest, freshest ingredients to fill your yard with the happy chirps of satisfied songbirds.
Always The First
As an industry trailblazer, Wagner's has had many firsts. They were the first company over 80 years ago to sell a bird seed for year-round feeding. Before that, bird feeding was just a winter activity to give wild birds the energy they needed to survive the winter. They've also been the first to market black oil sunflower seed, regional blends, and deluxe and premium bird foods.

They produce many different wild bird foods that are developed to give your feathered friends more of the seeds they love, making your feeders come alive with beautiful songbirds.
we have a bird feeder near out front livingroom window. Our cat sits on top of the love seat and watches the wild birds of all types come to eat. It brings him happiness. We ran low of seed and so I checked with Chewy and tadah! Wild bird seed...they seem to like it and keep coming back for more. Thanks Chewy for having everything for our cat and our feathered friends. :)
I have bought this bird seed for a long time but lately it has larger amount of corn in it fewer safflower and fewer sunflower seeds. I can see the birds searching around and it looking for the things they like. Hope they'd go back to the way it was because the birds always loved it and it's very fresh
I wanted to buy seeds for my backyard birds, but the price of black oil sunflower went up. So I searched for a good seed for less $$ with good reviews. I found it! I live in central Indiana, and my birds love this seed blend! There is no waste. This is not like the old millet blends that got to waste. This gets eaten, and what spills is eaten by the squirrels. I save a few dollars, and my friends eat well!
I can only report my (subjective) impression of the birds' reaction: I think they prefer another brand, Audubon Park Songbird Supreme Wild Bird Food, to the Wagner Eastern Regional Blend. Just going by how long it takes them to eat. But if they're hungry enough they'll eat anything.
I normally get the Southeastern blend but I wanted to try out the normal Eastern blend out. I always have tons of birds but I’ve had even more. Im definitely going to be order more.
This seed was just ok. Not enough of a blend and too many Sun Flower seeds. Probably would not purchase again.
I’m a Kaytee Nut & Fruit guy but I thought I could save a few shackles.($) Unfortunately, I bought this eastern blend instead of the southern blend. The ground around my feeder is covered by the bird seeds my guys didn’t like. The Cardinals & doves will work the ground but fail to stay ahead of the seed accumulation. My bad!
I've been using the for a couple years now and have been happy until now. I just received 2 20lb bags and it's noticeably different. Mostly brown millet now. Hardly any sunflower seeds and cracked corn.
I bought this food for the little birds that come outside the house, but I think it was not to their liking, before I gave them another brand and it only lasted a week in the aviary, with this food it has been almost a month and it is still half I guess they didn't like the change
Just mixed seed. This kind of bird seed I put in/on hanging platform feeders for the morning doves to eat in peace until the gluttonous starlings and cow birds frighten them away. Also sprinkle on ground for the ground feeders.
