The flexible hose in this kit is 7 feet long.
Why is the shower shut off valve necessary since the water is coming from the tub spout.

The valve must be in the OFF position (90⁰ or perpendicular to pipe) to stop the flow of water to your shower head which will allow the kit to function properly.
Is it easy to install the shower head shut off valve?

The shut-off valve is screwed on where the shower head is. An instructional video website link and the manual link are available on the "Instructions" tab, just under the product photos.

GAME CHANGER!

We have 4 dogs of our own and 3 foster dogs. Various coat lengths and thickness, all med-large doggos. This thing is WONDERFUL! The first time I turned it on, it was a bit leaky, but per the instructions, loosened it, readjusted, and tightened back down. Worked fine! Makes AWESOME water pressure, the handle on the back is great for holding onto, and the brush allowed for deeper water penetration on the thickest coats. Follow the instructions, watch the little YouTube video, and it WILL work!!

Made my life easier

Thanks for inventing this and with all the detailed instructions to ensure this is installed correctly. I started looking for something like this couple of years ago tried other products and nothing worked, so I gave up. Just when I started thinking maybe I should change my spout and add another handheld shower head (which would’ve be a more costly solution) I found this on chewy, first I was skeptical until I saw the video, they started with the most important thing - what kind of spout set up will work, so I said to myself if it doesn’t work I’ll just return it. And it worked!! This adds so much convenience to me and my dog! Thank you for inventing this and execute it really well!!

Fantastic!!!

Excellent and exactly what I have been looking for. We can bathe our golden in the tub with our bathtub spout now. Installation was a breeze and the directions were laid out very nicely with pictures. I appreciate the video also. I find following the video instructions to be the easiest. I was a bit hesitant to purchase because on the couple of reviews that mentioned water everywhere. Do not worry. As long as you follow the directions step be step you’ll have not trouble.

bathroom gets a bath too

I had high hopes for this product. It was easy to assemble, however the ‘shield’ doesn’t do much shielding. Water sprayed everywhere if I set the temp to anything warm or above. It did make rinsing my dogs easier, but I had to wipe my entire bathroom down afterwards because the water shield flew off mid bath. Wouldn’t recommend solely based on the price and quality. If your dog likes warm baths, this is not the product you want.

It's okay but still turns on shower

Not sure if my water pressure is too high but even with this on the sprout, water will still spray out of the shower head. I have the top screwed on as tight as it will go but it still turns on the shower. But this did help me get through tubbie time a lot faster.

Bath time made EASY!

This is the greatest thing for my long haired Havanese puppy. Makes bath time a breeze and she loves the massage she gets. Makes it so much less stressful. Thank God for Chewy and this product. Highly recommend!!!!

Makes Life So Much Easier

This product is great. Clear instructions on how to set up; and the trouble shooting video was great for getting a secure connection. It cuts bath time in half and a HUGE bonus is that I don’t get soaking wet anymore. The brush is very soothing for my anxious dog and I love that I can turn the water on and off with one hand. Really creative and useful design.
