Is it a leak proof fit once lid is attached? My one male cat always pees on the side of the litter box and it seems to leak out through the space in between the top and bottom.

This is a very sold well built litter box. It's large and even my 16 lb big boy who is super long fits inside. I initially left the flap off the hood until my cats

This is a very sold well built litter box. It's large and even my 16 lb big boy who is super long fits inside. I initially left the flap off the hood until my cats got used to it but once they started using it regularly I put it on. It seemed to really cut down on litter smell. It's easy to do the daily scoop because the tray pulls out the front. And the stainless steel litter pan is super easy to scrub down for the monthly clean out. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone who doesn't have somewhere to put the litter box in a utility room because it holds the smell down between the lid and stainless steel pan not holding litter stink.

Overall, I like the box, still have to give it some time to see how it holds up, but first impression was that the top does not attach well to the bottom, it barely snaps on and very easily moves around and pops off if I try lifting the front swing door. It almost seems like they sold me a returned box. Wish I had the time to just return it but I was in dire need of one like this since I have 2 cats, so it’ll have to do.

I was very excited to get a stainless steel litter box, but I am not sure this one will get a lot of use. The positives - 1) great scoop with two different hole sizes for sifting. 2) litter pan slides out for easy cleaning. 3) nice entry size and easy to customize as the door is removable. Negatives - 1). Gapping space between top and drawer. 2) Lid does not stay snapped in place very well and comes off easily . 3). The litter box has multiple pieces and consequently the lid does not feel super sturdy. The verdict is still out to see if our cats will use this box. So far my cats have not been very interested in using it. I took off the swinging door to hopefully encourage them to give it a try. One final observation, although it is a decent size, it seems like my chonky cat might find it a bit cramped.

Quality product, well made, thoughtfully designed. The large stainless steel litter tray slides all the way out, allowing for easy access to clean it. The sides are tall enough to contain my cat Benny’s #1 and the litter he throws around after doing his business. I like how the door swings open but also how the whole piece can go up (should I want or need to give better access). The top of the litterbox is vented and has a packet air freshener (a second one is included too). The litter scoop is sturdy but the best part is the holder/stand it comes with. Highly recommend this litterbox - it checks all the boxes!

I had been struggling with litter being flung out my other box everywhere. My one cat scratches so much and so crazy and I had an open top litter box. This was so easy to assemble and my cats took right to it. They used it the first night and I heard Clawdia just scratching the ceiling and doing her crazy stuff and all the litter was contained and any on her feet dropped off on the catcher outside the door. Love this!

This is a great litter box! The ability to pull out the pan to clean it, fill it, etc. is a game changer! So far, the stainless steel has been fantastic in allowing easy clean up. The clumped up litter slides right off the steel without leaving buildup or residue. Another feature I enjoy about this litter box is the ability to easily customize the entry size. My male cats do not do well with the plastic entry doors, so I was able to easily remove that. Additionally, one of my boys is larger than the average sized cat, so the entry was a little tight for him. I was able to remove the front cover to allow for a bigger opening! When I deep clean the litter box, the disassembly will be a breeze! Overall I would recommend this litter box to cat parents!

Easy to Clean, Cat Loves It

I have an older cat with mobility and other issues. We needed to upgrade the litterbox, but had to make sure it wasn't too high for her. She's also pretty persnickety

She's also pretty persnickety and will refuse to use a box if she doesn't like it. She took to this box immediately and the pull out stainless steel tray makes cleaning super easy. It was expensive but worth the money.

This litter box is well made, sturdy, easy to put together, and easy to clean. We have an 11 pound tripawd cat who is 14-15 years old. It took him a couple of weeks

This litter box is well made, sturdy, easy to put together, and easy to clean. We have an 11 pound tripawd cat who is 14-15 years old. It took him a couple of weeks before he started using the box, but the size is roomy for him and he is using it consistently now. We also have two dogs and were hoping the front flap would deter them. But we ended up taking the flap off to accommodate our elderly cat to make it easier for him to use. We were able to place the box facing a corner with the mat in front, and our dogs can't really get to it so that worked. This litter box definitely helps contain the litter and gives our cat the privacy he prefers!
