How long does this product last once submerged?
Answer by ChewyMar 07, 2018
The Turtle Banquet blocks lasting in the water once submerged depends on the turtle. Some turtles will devour the block as soon as you put it in the tank, recognizing it's food. Some turtles will nibble on the block over several days.

Can you break it in half, I forgot to order 2 of them as I have 2 turtles they are in separate bowls.
Answer by ChewyAug 05, 2019
This supplement treat can be cut in half.

I have 3 Aquatic turtles, I'm leaving town for 7 days will it be sufficient food?
Answer by ChewyJul 25, 2021
The Supplement treat provides turtles an additional food source while away on vacation, keeping them entertained and occupied.

will this last for four days
Answer by ChewyJul 23, 2021
The Zoo Med Aquatic Turtle Banquet Block Supplement Treat recommendation is 1 block every 7-10 days. Some animals will get excited and chew on the bloc, consuming it quickly so it may not last that full time.

I have two 7 inch Cumberland slider turtles and they ate it pretty fast and for a second I thought it dissolved, but that takes time and it had only been 15 minutes. It’s a great product and I would 100% recommend!

I am sure they are great

I am sure they are great but my turtle must be picky. He wants nothing to do with it. I will just keep trying different things for him!

This item is actually more of a necessity than a treat.

All reptiles require calcium. I give one block for her once a week. She is fairly large. When she was smaller, I broke the block in half. She takes chomps out of it at a time. They won't eat it all at one sitting. Definitely a recommendation for a healthy, complete diet.
