What is the difference between this and the one that has 1% hydrocortisone?

This Solution contains 0.5% Hydrocortisone. The Zymox Plus Advanced Formula 1% Hydrocortisone Otic Dog & Cat Ear Solution has a higher level of hydrocortisone for more serious cases.

Can i use it once a week after treatment to maintain ?

Zymox Ear Solution is intended to eradicate a broad range of infections ranging from mild to severe, but many veterinarians have also found Zymox Ear Solution to be effective in maintenance of the ears, especially during the allergy season.

Awful waste of money for ear infection

I just bought a whole bottle and gave it to him twice and could tell it was not going to work at all so it was exactly like the other bottles that they sell for

I just bought a whole bottle and gave it to him twice and could tell it was not going to work at all so it was exactly like the other bottles that they sell for $22 just with a different packaging and marketing but it pretty much said the same thing on the bottle just a different looking bottles what sold it to me so I actually wasted the whole order last time I wish I could send it back to him because I already had a bottle of the same exact name brand that I can bought from them they can look it up and see and I had no clue I was buying the same thing twice but neither one of them work this product isn't even be sold by chewy at all. . I wish they would send me a box so I can send my money back I mean send my order back and they refund my money or send me a free bottle of this stuff I just bought hopefully I'll never even need no more of this stuff I just bought because it seems to be working the OctBliss whatever it is one for $33 they are vet Street and they work. But these don't. It even had 2% hydrocortisone or something with like these bottles only had a half percent but you can't see none of that if you're older until you get it in your hand you can't really read the bottle you just have to go by what the front of the bottle looks like I would have never bought this thing twice I wish they would send me a box and let me send this product back it is the same exact thing I used two drops out of it it is not what we want

It cleared my dogs ear infection immediately!

Great Ear Solution

Only problem is it turns my dogs fur a yellowish color. Medicine must leak out otherwise really helps keeps his ears from getting infections

Saved me a vet bill

Not as expected

I have a fur baby that can’t seem to shake ear infection/yeast in one ear in spite of many vet visits along with prescription medicine. I read that this was great

WOW! Really Helped so much with an ear infection from allergies.

I believe the "Wow" was due to the Hydrocortisone, all the other brands did not have it in their ear solutions. It took down the inflammation and redness within

I believe the "Wow" was due to the Hydrocortisone, all the other brands did not have it in their ear solutions. It took down the inflammation and redness within just a couple days. I continued using it for the next 5 days, 8 days total. I used Zymox enzyme ear cleaner every day for 5 days to flush and clean remainder of gunk left. He seems very happy and so am I. Thank you!

The relief was fast

She was shaking her head to the point of disorientation. Once I used the drops it was only couple of days and the head shaking stopped and no flare ups since.

Saved me from vet bills!

My white pittie mix is allergic to half the world and struggles with ear health. Her allergies result in red bumps and irritation on the inside flaps of her ears

My white pittie mix is allergic to half the world and struggles with ear health. Her allergies result in red bumps and irritation on the inside flaps of her ears. I use Zymox Advanced Enzymatic ear wipes every few days to keep her ears clean and healthy (every day if she's having allergy issues), but one morning she woke up with lots of gunk and redness in one ear and it was horribly itchy. Luckily, knowing she would probably need it at some point, I had already bought a bottle of this solution to keep on hand. I used it once a day as instructed (morning), plus used a wipe in the afternoon to remove the loosened gunk, and within 3-4 days, it was all cleared up! It's definitely not something you hope to ever need, but if you have a dog with lots of allergies that result in symptoms in their ears, or even just a dog with floppy ears that are difficult to keep clean, buy a bottle for a rainy day and try it before paying 3-5x as much for a vet visit. It didn't take much to clean my 60lb dog's ears so one bottle should last through several treatments at least, making it a good value. Also, my trick to reduce the mess is to have a cotton ball ready in hand, squirt the solution in their ear, massage the base of the ear to work in the cleaner, then insert the cotton ball and massage and tilt the dog's head so it soaks up most of the liquid. Obviously do NOT put the cotton ball in the ear to the point that you can't grab it to get it out, but by doing that, there will be much less splatter when the dog inevitably shakes their head when you're done.
