What is the difference between this and the one that has 1% hydrocortisone?

This Solution contains 0.5% Hydrocortisone. The Zymox Plus Advanced Formula 1% Hydrocortisone Otic Dog & Cat Ear Solution has a higher level of hydrocortisone for more serious cases.
Can i use it once a week after treatment to maintain ?

Zymox Ear Solution is intended to eradicate a broad range of infections ranging from mild to severe, but many veterinarians have also found Zymox Ear Solution to be effective in maintenance of the ears, especially during the allergy season.

Ear infection solution

Daisy is a 4 yr old AmStaff. We struggle with her allergies and the problems they cause. This year the allergies hit early and hard. She had skin, sinus and ear infections. 2 trips to the vet confirmed that they were treatable with antihistamines and environmental control steps. These ear drops gave her same day relief from the itching and irritation she'd struggled with for 2 weeks. We absolutely will continue with these until she is pain and itch free. Thank you for making her comfortable and back to her happy goofy loving self.

It worked!

I ordered this for Beamer, one of our cats, that is almost 16 years old, because by scratching his right ear I could tell it was bothering him. I chose this one because of the great reviews, and no pre-cleaning of his ear was needed. After one week of following the directions he seemed better. We then took him to the vet for his check-up (for another issue,) and I asked the vet to please check his right ear, and Dr Evans said it looked good, except for being a little dirty. Beamer hasn’t scratched his ear since, so I know this worked!

Works fast

If my dog's ears get inflamed or itchy due to a food he shouldn't have eaten, this clears them up super fast. If they are bad i put in a few drops, then put a wrap hoodie around his ears so that he can't shake his floppy ears and cause bleeding. I love this stuff.

tail wagg!!

If i could give this 6 stars I would. I think My dog had an ear infection. Would always shake uncontrollably. So I went online . Did my research and came across this product. Followed the instructions . Applied it. And it did wonders. You apply it for 7 days straight. Really easy to use. Worth every penny!! Louie says thanks!

Cleared up my dog’s painful itchy ears in 4 uses

My lab had red, inflamed ears that she was constantly shaking and scratching at. In an attempt to avoid a vet visit I bought these and they worked so well! We only needed to use them for three days before her ears were better. We went ahead and did one more day to make sure they were good and she’s stayed healthy since. That was at least 6 weeks ago. Highly recommend for itchy, painful looking doggie ears.

Ear relief

This product was a savior for our dog Lola. She has very dirty and itchy ears which drive her nuts. Our veterinarian suggested this product, but couldn't find at our local pharmacies. Thank you Chewy for having this product available.

Worked Perfectly

Product worked amazingly well on my daughter's dogs ear infection! The vets expensive scripts didn't work, not any one of the 3 of them! So I turned to Chewy and put my 30 yr nursing experience to work! She used this to flush his ears for one week and by the 5th day they were completely clear not even slightly pink anymore let alone blood red as they had been! So 2 extra days to be sure! The infection didn't return either!

Ear infection

This product is awesome. My 8 year old female chihuahua has a problem with ear infections. And this is the only product that has worked to help clear them up. I highly recommend this product. I can’t say enough good things about it.

Save a trip to the vet

This stuff works. Itchy ears, scratching head and not feeling well. This is the same stuff I got by prescription from my vet. Rather than go back for a refill and pay another vet bill, I checked Chewy and sure enough it's available over the counter. Yay!
