Fleas rise to the top of your pet's coat as they die, so consider it a triumph if you start seeing more fleas at first, after treating your pet. If you’re still seeing fleas after application, it may be because your pet has picked up new fleas from the environment, which may include other pets, surfaces and outdoor areas. It may take up to 30 days to break the entire flea life cycle. Additionally, you should also treat sources of new fleas (i.e., carpet, yard, etc.) to ensure complete flea control.

This doesn't work at all. I tried this on my Boxer and my Cavapoo (different fur types, different size dogs), and it didn't work for either dog. We were still finding fleas on both right after, and a few days after, their bath. And yes, we waited the recommended 5 mins (actually longer) AND we re-applied after 7 to 10 days. No, my house isn't infested, but it will be if I keep using this stuff.
We paired this flea shampoo with Advantage products for our dogs and neither worked. I didn’t care for the smell either, it’s like walking into a vet clinic. Very medicinal. I could’ve tolerated it, I suppose, if it was effective. But we didn’t notice any improvement.
First time experience with my indoor cat having fleas. This shampoo seemed to sooth irritated skin. Washing seemed to remove flea dirt. One step in getting rid of fleas.
Used this as an initial treatment and paired with flea collar. Smells pretty good and did help in removing some fleas and washing them away. We will use again if needed.
I just used it on my two dogs. I saw several dead fleas as I was rinsing Joby and I haven’t seen either of them scratching since their baths. I’m hoping for the best.
It works!!! My baby had soooo many fleas and as soon as I used this, he was so happy! He stopped scratching and licking!
I was pleasantly surprised to discover that this product effectively worked on both of my dogs. I bathed one of them a week ago, and since then, there have been no signs of fleas returning. As soon as I noticed the first sign of fleas on the other dog, I promptly used this shampoo, and it proved to be highly effective.
1# flea & tick shampoo for cats & dogs, works perfectly,no skin allergies with my cat.
I've been using Adams plus w/ precor for a while and it always did an excellent job but! I've just recently noticed that the fleas that were hidden in the fur were not dead. It knocked them out long enough to take them out with the water hose and a good scrubbing but the fact that the fleas might be outside in the yard alive is really concerning! And it can cause an infestation outside!
Personally I’d give it a 0 if I could. Because I used this on my cat and she still had fleas and more than one. I was hoping this would help but nope just a waste of money sadly.
