I love this booster seat. It was pretty much assembled I think we just zipped the bedding part on. It was also super easy to strap into the back seat of my car. I love the tiger stripe! My 11 lb Pomchi fits in it fine, but it's a little smaller than I expected so I would definitely not go over 15 lbs with this one. She was a bit hesitant about staying in it, but is getting more comfortable each time - before she would "surf" the seat with her legs splayed and couldn't see out. It's well made and I like that it's not hanging up in the air or that it doesn't have straps blocking my dogs view or ability to get in/out of it. I would definitely recommend this item
