My Bo has really enjoyed this toy! it's a great alternative to show when he's in a chewy mood. Crinkle + rope + fabric + bone bit means this toy can usually satisfy whatever hankering is making him mouthy. Fins have frayed over the past month from pup age 8-12 weeks so might not be sturdy for a stronger chewer. All in all it's a very cute toy and is one of Bo's favorites so far.
I really thought this toy would last. It was delivered 3/22 and it's now 4/24. I thought with it being a rope toy it would be stronger. Boy we're we wrong. It is super cute, he did have tones of fun with it. But if you have a chewer this isn't the toy for you.
This toy is a nice size and Ted liked the bottle. He's afraid of most new toys I get him, but this one he only playfully growled at for 10 min before running around with it. I took a star off because the bone lasted for approximately 20 min and the toy comes apart a little once it's gone. It is still usable tho.
My dog has had this for almost 6 months, it’s his favorite toy he has almost 24/7 and he JUST got the bottle out of the middle (still hasn’t gotten the bone off yet). I wanted to reorder but out of stock. I would recommend this if your dog likes the crinkle of a water bottle and the taste of a bone.
I gave this toy to the boys (a 1 year old and 6 year old labradoodle) and within 5 minutes they had the white part off (broke it in half) it was hard like a bone. Then it was all downhill from there, the whole toy was destroyed in less than 15 minutes. I was hoping I could atleast salvage the body, but once they go the tail off the rest of it just fell apart.
This toy lasted exactly 2 minutes with my 15 month old cocker. If your dog is a chewer as much as mine do not get this. One side fine was literally chewed of within 2 minutes and within 5 minutes the rope came apart and started loosening up. The bone piece is not located in a good spot so he has a hard time even getting to it. I was very disappointed in this toy
My dogs had this destroyed within about 5 minutes. They love the bone on the tail, but honestly it wasn't worth paying the money. For reference, my boxer is the one that destroyed it first. The Mastiff at least played with it for about 2 minutes before destroying it. The ropes are loosely woven, so it's easy to get them apart. The plastic bottle on the inside didn't stand a chance against them.
My dog chewed through several of the rope strands within 15 minutes of receiving the new toy. But she's having lots of fun with it, regardless of the damage she's done to it.
This toy was a gift to our 8 month old puppy in Sept. 2022. It was played with daily ever since and I just threw it away! But I kept the bone portion and now he’s chewing on just that and carrying it around with him! My dog is a Bichon, for reference, and loves to chew! As this toy started to show wear, I just trimmed as needed. When those trims became necessary every hour, into the waste bin it went. I just ordered TWO more! Highly recommend!
My girls love this toy! We have 2 of the duck by the same company, Bones and Chews, and they have not been able to destroy them! So we added the whale. The durability is good. These are left outside in the rain, heat, in the horse pasture even and they still survive. We recommend
