Swell litter box
By Kara on Mar 13, 2022
So, both my cats were having issues with the top entry box I had. One started refusing to use it and going wherever she pleased, fun times right? So, my search began for the perfect litter box! I wanted something with a hood, but not a door, something that kept litter inside of it, something easy to clean, and something my cats would actually use! So, I gave this booda a chance. I've had it for a few weeks and I'm pleased! They both use it, it keeps most of the litter inside of it, not as well as the top entry but way better than a hoodless box. My complaints: chewy taped it shut so it wouldn't break, I assume, and the tape stuck to it which isn't a big deal to me as my box is hidden. The lid doesn't latch so any pesky dogs that really want to can and will find their way into it with no problem. Overall I'm happy with it. I would totally buy it again. … more

It’s a fine litter box, but no less tracking
By Daisy on Feb 11, 2022
I think this litter box is great if #1 you have the space for it (it’s very large) and #2 if your cat doesn’t really track litter as they walk off. I would imagine this is good though for a cat who kicks litter around…it seals pretty nicely but you have to make sure to line up the top and bottom perfectly. We actually got this litter box thinking that the stairs would get our cat to track less litter around the house as she walked off, but she wound up just leaping over the stairs (sometimes making a worse mess), getting litter all over them in the process and all outside of the box as she walked off. We wound up switching back to our old litter box because it was smaller and we did not I think this litter box is great if #1 you have the space for it (it’s very large) and #2 if your cat doesn’t really track litter as they walk off. We’re in an apartment, so the size was too much considering our feet still had litter stuck to them at the end of the day lol … more

Booda Dome
By CatMom on Jan 9, 2022
I had a Booda Dome in the past, so when my extra large Boi had trouble fitting in the top entry we were using, I decided to go back to Booda. This is the same size as the old one, but not the same quality. It is not as solid. The top takes some wiggling to sit all the way down. The little nubs that are supposed to hold the filter in place are poorly molded and misshaped. The filter is difficult to place, and doesn't stay there. I've also noticed that the replacement filters offered by Chewy are not the correct shape, there are many reviews that point this out. Hopefully that will change by the time I need one. All that being said, this is better for my bigger cat. too big and not great for senior cat
By devs on Jan 27, 2022
Altho this is recommended for a senior cat getting up the ramp and then down into the litter box area was not something mine wanted to do. Also would have to fill with a lot of litter. I was hoping for a closed box for my senior who pees a lot - but alas she prefers the ease of the open tray. Finally, it is BIG. Too big for a corner of my apartment - might work with the right cat in the right home.

We like the Dome
By Grandma on Jan 18, 2022
The first dome we got was in 2007 when we rescued two young cats. This is the dome we got very recently to replace the first because we thought so many years of cleaning and not using liners could have thinned the bottom. The new dome was not as heavy duty as the original from 2007, however it works very well as there is no scattered litter and our remaining 15 year old girl does not take out the charcoal filter as so many have complained of. The design is very good.

My cats love this litter box.
By Kris on Jan 23, 2022
At first I was disappointed that I couldn't find any of the rectangular, hooded litter boxes. I have 2 but I need another one. I bought this and put it in the room with the other 2 boxes and my cats definitely prefer this Dome. Now I have to get 2 more and get rid of the rectangles.

Pee Waterfall
By Alex on Jan 13, 2022
I thought this would be cuter and a bit cleaner than a regular litter box- surprise, it wasn’t. When it arrived the plastic to hold the filter was misshapen but i was still able to shove the filter in so no huge deal. Now my cat may just be an cute fluffy idiot, but he did end up peeing right down the stairs meant to keep the litter box cleaner. Thank god there was a lip at the end of the stairs to catch some of it, but this was a golden waterfall that was not asked for. Just another thing to consider before you buy - if your cat is also a cute fluffy idiot!

Great for cat/dog homes
By Tj081287 on Jan 7, 2022
I had an extra large/wide cat box because my cats are funny about covers on a cat box, but it wasn't great to keep the dogs out of it. So I tried this one and even the shitzu cannot get in this box. It doesn't keep litter from getting out, but definitely better than a standard option.

Frustrated
By Parsley on Feb 18, 2022
Our cat will not go into this litter box. We’ve had the top off for two weeks and she refuses to go in it. Not sure if there’s a trick to making her like it

terrible condition
By msrl on Feb 3, 2022
im quite disappointed with the condition of this litterbox, i ordered it online and came pretty fast but it’s like breaking and peeling all over and doesn’t really fit well/stay together
