I love this cat box.
I was not sure if I was going to like this. I had a metal cat box for a while and before that I had plastic ones. The plastic would get scratched easily and smell fast.
This box though...amazing. I needed a bigger enclosed box and figured I would give this a go.
Cleaning is so much easier. I had back surgery a month ago and this has made life easier. ALL cat boxes should have this. The bottom has not gotten scratched up and I have two cats.
The lid as a whole was a little stiff to slide latch to lock but I got it to close. Probably just because it is new.
Great Size
The pro of this litter box is the size. I have 2 , 2 year old cats. I am trying to get them to use the clear flip piece, which is one of the reasons I ordered it. Hopefully, they will start. They will use it if I keep the clear piece flipped up. Only time will tell if I will have to remove it all together. Hoping not. One of the reasons I ordered it in the first place. Maybe if the flip piece just went down halfway even, that may would help.
I was so surprised at how expensive the liter box was and how expensive most all of them are. Is it plastic? I believe the slide locks on the side could work a little better also. Other than the flip door being something my cats will get used to and the price- this is a good liter box.
CATS LOVE THIS!
Finally, a litter box designed intelligently and thoughtfully. My two cats love this box...I love this box! The best features are the generous almost square size and the lip on the inside edge of the top half. Any cat--no matter its size, will be able to freely move around, and those that pee high cannot create a dripping mess on the outside of the box. Another great feature is the size of the opening when the swing door and top panel are lifted up and folded back--you can scoop without lifting off the top half. If your cat is reluctant to use a swing door, it's really easy to secure the flap to the underside of the top panel and not block the top panel from lifting up. As a life-long cat mom, I won't buy any other brand or design of litter box from here on.
Disappointed again
I has purchased 2 cat trays in a month. I had to threw away the first one and I decided to go with this one hoping it will be a better purchase. Unfortunately came with one missing latch and the latches it has are flimsy. If I try to get the box by the handle it comes apart. It is bigger than the other one I have. My cats pee high and that’s why I went with a bigger one. I haven’t seen pee in the back yet but I will update my review if that’s the case.

Great Size, Bad Design
This litter box was the perfect size for my tiny cat she uses it as a second one. When putting it together though the door did not function as pictured. It didn’t have in and out movement because it did not fit in the space cut out. We are able to completely get rid of it and that works fine.

Best litter box we’ve owned!!
This litter box has solved all of our problems! No more cat pee outside the box, much less litter scattered outside the box and the odor control is great!! I love being able to scoop it out without having to remove the lid and not having to clean up pee that has seeped between the top and bottom has made my daily litter box cleaning so much simpler!

Jumbo Hooded Cat Litter Box
This litter box is perfect for our large make cat, he has plenty of room to go in and out of it easily and to turn around in it easily. It’s very deep and I love that the sides lock keeping it together. I did remove the front flap as our cat never learned to use a litter box with a flap on it. The flap was super easy to remove. I highly recommend getting this litter box if you have a large cat.

Solved a huge problem for us, almost too well
We slowly built our way up to what we thought was the biggest and tallest litter boxes out there but still somehow these guys would occasionally get over the wall like it was a competition and onto the wall of the box containers we have had the past few years (and eventually had to throw out). A Chewy customer service person recommended this Catit model and it has been such a hit with the cats that they frequently choose this box over the others in the house - so now we have no choice but to get a few more of these. The design of this box is super-smart and easy to clean. The only tiny critique is that the door flap doesn't swing perfectly without touching the bottom of the opening (maybe just ours?). I had to unlatch the top half from the bottom to loosen tension enough to give it enough room to swing freely. The bonus it that this box comes in 2 house-friendly color options instead of the usual neon blue or green boxes out there.
Litter box
This is a good litter box. I find to lock the litter box you press down on the side to make sure it's all matched up then the locks slide right into place. And I picked up mine and it's stayed together. I love it
It's pretty but has a big problem...
This litter box is big and pretty but the exposed filter on the top is a problem. My cats are eating and pulling on this filter like it's a new toy to play with. Every day the filter is on the floor and chewed up. The filter should be covered or on the inside of the
of the top so the cats cannot pull it off so easily. It's too late to return it because it has been used but buyer beware on this litter box and the filter problem.
