Very Entertaining
The cats love scrabbling around after the jingle balls inside. I drop a couple treats or pieces of kibble in there once in a while, which makes for a guaranteed 45 minutes of entertainment for them. This is my go-to when I need them to leave me alone for a while.
Such a fun enrichment toy for cats
I highly recommend this product! Both of my cats have shown interest in it! The kitten definitely spends the most time playing with the box and stalking it but they both really enjoy it more than a small, plush cat toy!
Hunting Box
This hunting box is great for young cats. All of my kittens loved it! It really challenges their hunting instincts and makes them think and listen. This is my 3rd box. I highly recommend it!
Great in principle - but not well made
I had an old version of this toy that my cat loved. She would lie on the floor and stick her paws in the side holes, stand over it and dig in the top holes, and lie next to it and rest her head and front paws on it. The older version had smaller jingle-balls and she would easily knock them out of the box and chase them around, but it became a game of 'find the balls' after she'd batted them under the furniture. After we had lost 1 of the 3 balls and I noticed she was starting to chew at the cardboard edges of the box, I ordered a new one. The new toy arrived yesterday and I noticed the jingle balls are now larger, making it harder to knock them out of the box. I guess that's a good thing for some cats, but for my cat it was just an incentive to tear the box apart in order to get to the balls. It has not even been 24 hours since I opened the package and the box is just about totally destroyed (see photos). I also put the old and new balls in front of the box in the photo so you can see the size difference. Since the "grass" on the top of the toy is NOT edible, I'm worried that she will ingest some of it in her enthusiastic destruction of the box. So... even though the toy is a hit with my cat, the fact that it is made of cardboard and fake grass that could potentially harm her if she eats it is a big drawback in my opinion. That is why I only gave it 3 stars.
Okay toy!!
So I will be answering one question I noticed people asking. What will happen if the cat eats the grass? Well chewy said the cats won't eat the grass....well that's a lie my kitty she did infact eat the grass, she was fine nothing happened, for her to stop I had to put enough catnip in the holes enough that she could smell it and showed her there were toys in it for her to play with and then once she smelled the catnip she stopped eating the grass and started playing with the toy, some cats will eat it and others won't it all depends on the cat so the answer to the questions what will happen if a cat eats the grass....nothing unless they eat the whole thing then take to the vet. Hope this review helped a lot of the kitty owners.
Hunting box
My cat, Bailey just loves his new toy. He is constantly trying his best to get one of the balls in the box. I think this is the best toy to keep him entertained.

Great for Busy Bodies!
I have two kittens who have just turned one year old and one in particular is still a bundle of energy! He has to have numerous options to play or he tears thru the house like a madman! He is really enjoying the hunting box toy, and even my other cats who are older and or lazier take their turns chasing the balls in this hunting box. They seem to really like the turf grass cover as well.
Kitties loved it!
My 3 cats love this a lot. They'd play with it and then sleep on it. Even after they managed to pull all the balls out they still bat at it and chew on it, and play with the balls all around the house!
