Opened canned food is good for 3 to 5 days. Make sure you are refrigerating with some type of can cover or sealed container. If any air gets in the food can spoil much faster.

Fed this for years due to the availability of the large cans (which is extremely rare). However, the level of phosphorus is alarmingly high compared to other wet foods. Due to the almost inevitability of CKD in older cats (and occasional prevalence in younger cats), I honestly can’t recommend this food unless someone is feeding a lot of young cats with regular bloodwork and really needs the big cans. Switched to a similar product with much lower phosphorus, better value in the 12.5oz than even these 22oz cans, and sturdier cans (these are very prone to denting) - there just were no upsides vs the competition.

Congratulations to Chewy for carrying the 22 ounce cans. I want to warn other buyers that the flip top does not necessarily get the top all the way off. It seems to attach to the rim and require a tool - (wire cutter, scissers, tinsnips) to release it. This can be tricky, dangerous and cause cuts. I have started using a can opener each time. Even that does not get it 100% off. But it's safer.

Quality has tanked

This used to be a good product. Recently Charlie developed GI issues. The X-ray showed bone shard deposits in his intestines. Which is most of what he was vomiting

I didnt think the chunks vs pate was different

our kittens will not eat the pate, I didnt realize I ordered the previous, I thought it was chunks they love the chunks, they won't eat this food it smells.off
