Can I use this cream on his face (nose and around mouth)?

This cream is not suitable for use on nose or eyes. Keep away from sores and open wounds.

what are the inactive ingredients?

The inactive ingredients are: Purified Water, Propylene Glycol, Mineral Oil, Stearyl Alcohol, Glyceryl Stearate and Potassium Stearate, Dimethicone, Bisabolol, methylparaben and Propylparaben.

Is there any problem or adverse reaction should my dog licks his feet after I apply the cream? I do try to keep an eye on him but sometimes he will hide and lick where I can't see him.

While this cream is completely safe and will not harm your pet when used as directed, it is recommended to monitor your pet to ensure the applied area is dry before they self-groom.

The instructions of how to apply and the fact that the dog should not be allowed to lick it once applied. We loved no hard smell. It did slow the scratching down
