Does this stink like fish?

Because the product contains multiple protein and fatty acid sources, it really has a pleasant, meaty odor with a hint of fish from the omega-3 powdered fish oil source. The manufacturer has never found any palatability problems in either the dog or cat Skin & Coat products.

Does this product work on cat "acne"?

This supplement is not formulated to treat cat acne. The unique formula boosts the overall appearance of your feline friend’s skin and coat and calms shedding, hot spots, and itching.

If I mix this with wet food, will the product alter the taste?

When mixed with wet food, Feline Optimum Skin & Coat may slightly alter the taste, as it does have its own natural flavor and aroma from the ingredients. However, it is designed to be mixed into food, and many cats accept it well when it is blended thoroughly with wet food. For picky cats, we recommend starting with a smaller amount than the full serving and gradually increasing to the recommended daily amount as tolerated.

Does this product help with mange?

Feline Optimum Skin & Coat is designed to support healthy skin and coat (including dryness and general skin comfort), but it is not intended to treat mange. Mange is caused by mites and should be diagnosed and treated by a veterinarian.

It took her about two days of it being mixed into her food (I was about to try making the broth the recommend) but she started eating it and it's been smooth since. I know vitamins and supplements are helpful but I've been very impressed with her skin, fur, and attitude since starting this up recently. I purchased the Optimum Skin & Coat and the Ultimate Fitness and Health for my cat. I knew my cat's food didn't have all the nutrients she should be getting and after doing some research it seemed Dr. Bills had MANY more active ingredients than most of the other competitors (I didn't want to buy more filler stuff that wouldn't help). I have to say, I've been very impressed so far.
