The design

The mat traps some litter but it’s so lightweight that it doesn’t stay down. When my cats scratch at it they pull it up, it folds over, and litter goes everywhere

The mat traps some litter but it’s so lightweight that it doesn’t stay down. When my cats scratch at it they pull it up, it folds over, and litter goes everywhere. I’ve tried placing most of it under the litter box to keep it in place but that defeats the purpose of reducing as much litter displacement as possible. Additionally, I’ve only used it a week and it’s already starting to fray where the cats scratch it.

I needed the mat for a 15-year-old cat that is beginning to have litter box issues. It is easy to clean up the little “gifts“ that he leaves sometimes on the mat, and the mat is thin enough that it can be easily washed in the machine. I hang it over a towel rack to dry it.

Not slip resistant as advertised

This product is attractive, but if you have a cat like mine that likes to scratch at things out of the litter box while using it, it won't work. It won't stay flat

This product is attractive, but if you have a cat like mine that likes to scratch at things out of the litter box while using it, it won't work. It won't stay flat on the floor and it's completely smooth so the litter goes everywhere. I don't know if it absorbs urine because that's not a problem I have.

It works!

This mat is large enough for a jumbo litter box. It protects my floor while keeping the litter from getting all over the floor near the box. My cat is willing

This mat is large enough for a jumbo litter box. It protects my floor while keeping the litter from getting all over the floor near the box. My cat is willing to walk on this mat where he is not willing to do so with other ones. I do highly recommend this mat. And it is even nice to look at.

I purchased this a few times hoping it would help track less litter into our kitchen, however, there's something about this mat that makes him pee on it. It never fails and it's very rare he pees outside the litter box. I finally gave up on the mat and just vacuum more frequently.

I love these so much! I have a ct that uses her paw like a shovel and throws half her litter out of the box. This collects all and lets me put the unused litter
