Pumpkin Spice Latte for Dogs Recipe

A PSL for your pup? Yes, please!

Fall is all about pumpkin: pumpkin bread, pumpkin pie and the beloved pumpkin spice latte. But why should humans have all the fun? While dogs can’t have caffeine, they still can enjoy a coffee-free version of this seasonal treat just as much as their owners enjoy a regular PSL.

In addition to being a palate-pleasing ingredient, pumpkin is beneficial to your pet for a variety of reasons. It can help regulate digestion, provides a blend of antioxidants and essential fatty acids essential for maintaining healthy skin and fur, and can help keep your dog’s urinary tract system running efficiently.

We teamed up with Kevyn Matthews, of The Dog Chef, to develop an easy-to-make, pup-friendly pumpkin spice latte for dogs.

As the leaves fall from the trees and the weather cools off, grab your own pumpkin spice latte and spoil your pup with this delicious DIY dog treat recipe. Pair it with our dog-friendly biscotti recipe for the full fall experience.

As with any human food, pet parents looking to incorporate new foods in their dog’s diet should consult with their veterinarian beforehand.
