Zucchini is naturally low in calories, making it a great option for dogs who need a lighter treat—but not every pup is excited about plain veggies.Â
These crispy zucchini bites make veggies more appealing for picky pups. With a simple coating of egg white and crushed freeze-dried dog treats, they turn into a crunchy, flavorful snack even picky pups will try.Â
As with any new food, check with your veterinarian before adding it to your dog’s diet.Â

How Much To Serve Your Dog
Start small—try 1–2 crisps and see how your dog likes them.Â
As a general guide, small dogs can have 1–2 crisps, while larger dogs can enjoy 2–3 crisps at a time.Â
As with all treats, these zucchini crisps should make up no more than 10% of your dog’s daily calories, with the other 90% coming from a complete and balanced diet. Too many treats can throw off your dog’s nutrition, and sudden changes can upset their stomach—so ease them in.Â
How To Store These Dog Treats
Store cooled crisps in an airtight container at room temperature, away from direct sunlight. They’ll stay fresh for up to two weeks—just check daily for any moisture to keep them nice and crunchy.Â

Want to save some for later? You can also freeze the crisps for up to one month. Let them thaw at room temperature before serving.Â
