Switched to this food recently and my dog loves it, though he's a fan of most foods so I can't vouch for this as a picky-dog approved choice. He's sensitive to foods with yeast (brewer's yeast, other yeast, etc...) because he's prone to ear infections, so it was important to me to get him something that didn't have any. His old food was also yeast free but it was adding up and I figured I'd do another round of research. Settled on this and he's been doing wonderfully on it. One interesting thing I noticed was that both their 4.5lbs and 30lbs bags were resealable. Got the 4.5lbs to test run it and that worked out. I was pleasantly surprised to see that that larger version came resealable as well since the other brands I've tried haven't had that option on their bigger bags. I added a (?) next to the title because I'm not testing out the seal on it because I have kibble container. Figured it'd be useful to know for others that don't use one of those.

We first purchased Eukanuba when we fostered (then adopted) Rose. She came with some pretty serious skin issues and infections. The vet we were seeing recommended Eukanuba because it was an excellent food for skin and coats. While I know food alone didn't heal Rose's skin issues, it certainly played a large role. The picture is from a one month difference. Our family loves Eukanuba and we love Chewy for being able to autoship and save us time and money! We also have two other dogs who had suffered from food allergies and hot spots and after switching to Eukanuba we haven't had any more issues.

I have had Max on Eukanuba for the past 7 years and I really like how this gives him consistent solid stools. Is that tmi? I feel this brand knows what it's doing and Max has never had any problems with it. No upset tummy (in fact he was put on this because of his upset tummy problems as a pup) of he always finishes his meals. Sometimes I like to switch it up with the lamb formula so he doesnt get tired of eating the same thing over and over. The price isn't too bad either since you're getting. A 30lb bag. He loves it and the bag usually lasts us 2.5 months before we have to get another.

My dog runs 4 miles a day, catches frisbees, swims for toys, easily handles 10 mile steep mountain trails, jumps through powder snow for hours and still wants more. High energy to say the least. She’s constantly complimented on her soft healthy fur and has nice firm poop. So as far as I can tell this food is just right for her (I keep her food in the resealable bag without a problem)

Great food, saw results right away

My dog was happily eating ProPlan but I wanted to try Eukanuba after she was having some smelly poops and red itchy skin. I also like that Eukanuba and Royal Canin are also owned by the same parent company (my small dog eats RC and the results have been phenomenal). This has been an excellent choice so far. My dog likes it just as much as ProPlan and her poops are much smaller and firmer with no strong odor. She has even more energy and her skin looks better. Excellent food with a great history of working with many top canine organizations!

Being a military family we move a lot. Every time we move my lily would stop eating her food. This has been the only food that she will not stop eating. She loves it. She’s also a picky eater. She will pick the meat chunks out of pro plan along with other foods and spit the kibble out. So glad I was able to find a food that she will consistently eat.

After trying several different foods over the years, I can honestly say that Eukanuba has been a game changer for both of my senior dogs. As they've gotten older, I've become much more mindful about their nutrition, energy levels, and overall well-being. Since switching to Eukanuba, I've noticed they are excited for mealtime again and clean their bowls every single time! What impresses me most is how well they're doing. Their coats look healthy, they maintain good energy for their age, and their digestion has been great. Most importantly, they genuinely love the taste. Anyone with senior dogs knows that finding a food that's both nutritious and appealing can sometimes feel like searching for a tennis ball in a field of squirrels. As a pet parent, there's nothing better than seeing two happy, thriving seniors wagging their tails when it's time to eat. Eukanuba has earned a permanent spot in our home, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for quality nutrition for their aging pups. Two paws up from both of my furry taste-testers! Signed by two happy seniors and one very grateful dog mom.

I've fed Eukanuba to previous dogs. They've done very well on it: clean teeth and shiny coats. It eliminated Tiger's empty stomach vomiting. They had generally great health and lived long lives. My newest pup--now 1 1/2 years--I got swept into the boutique food band wagon. My vet has recommended good national brands from the start. Now, the information has come out of the vet schools about how the small brands really don't have the knowledge base that the national brands do, and there are serious problems (i.e. cardiomyopathy) showing up. I've done a little trial-and-error, but now I'm feeding my little guy Eukanuba Adult. His poops are fewer and firmer and he's eating it happily. It is a tried-and-true show dog food, and a couple of the big guide dog and service dog schools use it for their valuable animals. Chewy sends me the size bag I want and the food is not past its date as it was at one local store.

I have been in vet med for 6 years and I haven't found a food I liked better. My 6 year olds (a pitbull and a husky) fight me for nightly tooth brushing - so I heard this was VOHC approved and recommended and decided to give it a shot. My pit is a freak and won't let me touch her teeth but I can see that despite her yearly dental now being 2 weeks late, her teeth look amazing still! She has a historically nasty mouth with some fractured teeth and generally yellow stained and tartar loving chompers... they're still stained but there is very little tartar build up, her gums aren't half as inflamed as they were last year! Brushing is still the best but this absolutely helps to lighten the load and stress for me to do it every night.

With all the concern about grain-free dog food causing heart problems lately with the taurine deficiency, I have decided to put my dog on one of the foods that is highly tested by the company. No more boutique grain-free food for us. If you are concerned about heart problems, try searching for "DCM in dogs". There is also a face book group run by vets about this. It is called Taurine-Deficient (Nutritional) Dilated Cardiomyopathy. Dogs are getting sick on the grain-free food.
