Feliway is a synthetic copy of the feline facial pheromone, used by cats to mark their territory as safe and secure. By mimicking the cat’s natural facial pheromones, Feliway creates a state of familiarity and security in the cat's local environment. As a result, Feliway can be used to help comfort and reassure cats while they cope with a challenging situation and help prevent or reduce the stress caused by a change in their environment.
Mimics cat’s natural facial pheromones, which creates a calming environment and de-stresses your cat
Can be used to help comfort and reassure cats while they cope with a challenging situation and help prevent or reduce the stress caused by a change in their environment. May help with stress caused by a new pet, moving to a new home, visitors, or even rearranging the furniture

Diffuser covers up to 700 sq. feet
Prongs on diffuser can be rotated to accommodate horizontal outlets.
Analogue of Feline Facial Pheromone: 2%. Exipients to: 100g
Diffusers should be placed where the cat spends the most time. If you are considering this product for a cat peeing outside the box, you can also place the diffuser in the room where the cat is urine spraying most often.
FELIWAY® Diffuser should be used for at least 30 days. Most behaviors will show improvement within 7 days, including peeing outside the box and scratching furniture. Depending on the behavior, you may need to continue using the FELIWAY® diffuser longer than 30 days.
When choosing a plug for the FELIWAY® diffuser, make sure there is nothing above the outlet that will obstruct the airflow and diffusion of the pheromone. It should not be placed under a cabinet, behind a couch, or near an open window.
Refills will last up to 30 days but some variations may occur depending on air flow and ambient temperature within the room.
One diffuser will cover up to 700 sq ft in an open floor plan. The diffuser will not diffuse pheromone outside of any given room though. Given the size, floor plan, and where your cats spend the most time, you should consider getting more than one diffuser.
Diffuser heads should be replaced every 6 months.
Newly plugged in diffuser units may have a slight odor for the first 24 hours, but it may last up to 72 hours. Pheromone diffusers are made of self-extinguishing plastic and comply with the International Electro-technical commission (IEC), European (EN) and UL required standards.
This has worked wonderfully!
My husband and I recently moved and have a finished basement. We placed our cat's tree and toys down there in hopes she would come hang out with us when we watched TV in the evenings, but she did not, she was TERRIFIED. I would try to bring her down with me and she would run away, but just a few hours after plugging in Feliway, she now comes down to the basement on her own and is playing and laying on her tree!
I'm so happy it worked for a fur baby, it's definitely worth a try if you have skittish kitty.
P.S. Our cat is 2 years old, so it's not just for kittens.
Its Actually Working!

My new kittie is pretty nervous. We've had the defuser going for about 5 days and have already noticed a change. He's not hiding under the bed anymore, he's exploring more, and he is scratching a lot less then he was. I deffently recommend this product. I know not all cats are created equal and what works for one may not work for another, but I'm glad I took the chance and got this defuser because it's made a world of difference for my sweet boy.
This helps- give it time!

We have a very shy, skittish girl kitty and after flying her across the country for a move and moving into a two-story home after one one-story homes in her 10 years, we couldn't get her downstairs. I put this diffuser in the hallway upstairs, then downstairs near where she hangs out but still out of the kitchen and living area. It didn't transform her overnight, but within a few weeks she gradually eased up and now comes down to get her food without fuss. Still won't hang out long so I may get another diffuser for that area. It's worth a shot- she would live in the smallest area if we let her!
Made My Cats Worse

This was recommended by my vet after my 2 female cats (2 years old) started fighting frequently. I kept this plugged in for about 2 weeks and in that time my cats continued to fight, would spend most of the day hiding, would lash out at me, and one of my cats was so stressed out she started vomiting daily and groomed herself a bald spot until it became a wound (this resulted in having to take them to the vets a 2nd time for another thorough exam, bloodwork, and topical medication). The vet then said to unplug this diffuser, and after 2 days of having it unplugged with windows open my cats have settled down and 4 days later are slowly getting back to normal. Seems to be working!

My Sam is a dog hater. I am a dog rescuer. My most recent rescue has put him in a funk for 6 months. After acing his blood work, vet suggested he was stressed out and when I thought of the timeline of these changes, they matched up with the arrival of Skippy. She suggested Feliway so I bought it right away and I do believe it is making a difference. Yesterday Sam actually sat on my lap while the dog was there too! I am optimistic!
No Effect on my Cat

My vet recommended Feliway for my cat, who was having a hard time adjusting to a dog in the house. I plugged the difuser in an outlet in the bedroom where she was hiding out, and saw absolutely no change in her behavior. She eventually came around to the new dog and is quite happy now, but it was about a month after the diffuser had run out. I don't doubt that it works for some cats, but it's not effective on all of them.
I was skeptical!

2019 was a very upsetting year for both myself and my fur-baby. My husband, and her daddy, passed away so the stress levels were very high in the house for the two of us. I actually caused her to have cystitis as she picked up my stress. My vet recommended the Feliway plug in and I jumped at anything to help my Ragdoll cat. It seemed to help within a few weeks and I continue to use these in the three rooms she frequents most often. Works for us!
Hopeful but perhaps too soon to tell

I have a very anti-social, anxious kitty who is over grooming and pulling out a lot of fur. We started using this 12 days ago and I am hopeful but it may be too soon to tell. She does seem to be coming out more frequently and actually socializing a bit so I am very hopeful and keeping my fingers crossed :)
Didn't work for me.

Unfortunately the diffusers didn't work on my cat. I guess she's that 1 in 10. It's a shame really since these weren't cheap and I'm struggling to get her under control. She's 8 years old and has been stress scratching things for years... I've tried product after product that just hasn't worked. I'll be adding this to the list. Still, I give it 3 stars because while it didn't work for my cat it might very well help someone else and the shipping was quick so there was that.
