Very attractive, no need to hide

While I loved the color and appearance and my cat seemed to like it at first, she found it awkward to use. I had previously had the smaller cactus scratching posts

While I loved the color and appearance and my cat seemed to like it at first, she found it awkward to use. I had previously had the smaller cactus scratching posts and Trixie wore them out. I debated buying the small Cactus again but this one was prettier and had 3 different heights and I changed my mind. Trixie tried to use the bamboo scratching post but could not reach it comfortably. She is small and this post has a raised base the other posts did not. She just could not scratch comfortably. I am sure this will be the perfect scratching post for taller kitties but I will have to give it away and buy Trixie another Cactus.

Looks just like the picture

My cat is already playing with the attached toys and scratching on it after I put it together today. I love how it looks just like the picture and is a vibrant dark green. The base is sturdy and no risk of tipping over. It was easy to put together and I did it in 30 minutes. My tip would be to screw the bottom half of the posts to the base after lining up the base+board+screws, rather than what’s in the instructions. Then you can screw the top halves of the posts, and it kind of tightens up everything. This made it easier to handle versus putting in the whole post and screws one by one. Very high quality from Frisco again.

Tall enough for our big cat

Our kitties have loved the FRISCO cactus scratcher, so when it wore out I wanted to try this one because the sisal wrapped portion is taller than on the cactus

Sturdy!

This is the strongest scratching post I have ever bought for my cats and well worth the price. They started using it as soon as I assembled it! It does not tip

Because there are bamboo shoots of differing heights, they both have one that is perfect for them! A bonus: they have started using it as a perch and will balance on top of the two smaller bamboo shoots. So fun for them!
