Catches litter

On the negative side, while it definitely catches litter, clumping litter tends to get stuck down in the mat and is hard to remove. On the positive side, the mat is nice and large and good to use under jumbo litter boxes.

fantastic product

Bought 3 to keep cat litter from being spread around house and protect floors from cat peeing outside boxes. the bought 3 more to expand areas around litter boxes. Best items we ever bought, cats love them...no claws getting caught like other mats, great price, great color option, all around fantastic product. Would definitely buy and recommend.

I bought two!

Check measurements to make sure it will fit your needs. I previously used a mat 2x bigger than this one and it was too big, but this size is perfect for my needs. I bought a second mat if I ever need to travel. Easy to vacuum & good price!

Navy blue quilted mat

After purchasing the large stainless steel litter box, I chose this quilted mat in navy blue and it is beautiful.

Best thing, ever

As our cat is one that loves to "stir" the litter box, we needed something that would catch litter and hold it there. This is the best. All I need to do is take it outside and shake it every few days.

Cat Quilted Rugs

Nice sturdy, heavy plastic rug. My cats love sitting on it and cleaning their nails! Thinking of purchasing another one. I have my Cat Litter on the one I bought but b/c my cats love it so much I could use a second one.

Works for catching litter but absorbs urine odor.

This mat does a good job catching litter but if a cat urinates in the litter box and it goes onto the mat, it really stinks. I've tried many store bought products and home made but nothing gets the smell out. I googled this type of mat and the recommendation is to not purchase a mat of this material.

How about this mat.

This mat I thought was going to be quilted. This "quilted" mat is a rubber mat, nothing material-like. If you don't intend to get litter in this curly-cue mat do not place it in or around the box. I found the only way to rid the mat of litter is to shake, shake and shake. It does make an excellent mat for a heated condo to sit on; litter mat--no.

Not Great

Looking for new litter mats now I decided to toss in a review. It's big so it's definitely nice because it can fully be under a litter pan...however the joy from that disappears when you realize litter just gets everywhere anyway. I'm looking for new options for a box as well right now because I guess my cat is messier than I realized and it's usually from when he jumps out. Figured that trying a mat would be a better solution first. Unfortunately despite it's jumbo size the mat doesn't seem to catch much at all. It's a bit difficult to clean and the material is a bit of an eyesore as well if you're worried about aesthetics as it's more rubbery and synthetic. Maybe in combination with a different type of box (not an unenclosed pan) perhaps the results might be different but for me it missed the mark unfortunately.
