Yes, the rope toy has a squeaker.
My border collie LOVES this zebra. we're now on our third one. She destroys all toys, but this one lasts longer than most. The squeaker, ears, eyes, tongue, and nose are the first to go, then the legs one by one (so obviously she needs some supervision while she's playing with it so she doesn't eat the pieces), but there are enough limbs that, even as they slowly get chewed off, there is enough toy remaining to still be fun. It's more exciting than a plain rope toy, cute, and keeps her entertained - we're both big fans!
A family member gifted this wonderful Zebra Rope Squeaky Toy for our dog. He absolutely loves it! Most toys he destroys pretty quickly however this one seems to have survived. He shakes it in his mouth and loves to play tug with it. You should always monitor your pet when playing with toys as there are small parts that could come off. He has enjoyed this toy so much we ordered a second one for him!
My dog loves rope toys. This one has held up pretty well. She chewed an eye off and one of the red things by the face - but otherwise she hasn't destroyed it yet. It is so cute and she loves that it's a rope that squeaks
Got a Chewy box with food and this new Zebra rope toy. My puppy went nuts. He saw it being unpacked and was practically doing somersaults. I gave it to him, went to another room, sat down on the couch and looked up to see stuffing on the rug. What? Literally, within 5 minutes, he had punctured a hole in the note. OMG. That has to be a record for sure. Got the sewing box out and while he was pacing then jumped up to look over my shoulder as to what was happening. Told him he put a big owie in his new baby and it was in the hospital to get well. Thankfully I was able to sew it shut but it won't stay shut if he chews on the nose vs. the rope parts. What a shame that they didn't consider this when making this adorable toy. I could have seen them do a rope nose as well. It's useable and my dog loves it. Overall those are 2 positives for this situation.
I purchased this for my Siberian Husky. She chooses it often to fetch or tug. Thick rope to withstand the pulling. The knots are a good size for me to use for a resistance pull and for her to grab with her mouth.
I’m always seeking toys that will endure the tough play of two young huskies. We’ve had this one for a couple of weeks and it still looks like a rope zebra! They enjoy anything made tough. This is holding up so far.
Received Frisco in our order today and gave it to Essie, (shih tzu) 6 months and 5 bls. She had it for two minutes and I noticed she was chewing something, which turned out to be the tongue from the toy. Fortunately she did not swallow it. The toy is not usable since where the tongue was, there now is a hole with the stuffing is coming out. Essie has not in her short life ever torn a toy and she has many.
This toy is one of my girls favorites but the nose was ripped the first day and one of my girls ripped off an eye & almost swallowed it. I had to cut off the nose, tongue, eyes, ears & hair tuft and now it is safe for my French Bulldogs. It would be way better if tug toys like this didn't have unnecesary ornaments. I would recommend but I'd do so cautiously. If my girl hadn't been sitting next to me playing, she could have swallowing that fuzzy eye.
Rafiki tore the nose off within hours and the eyes, ears and all non-rope parts off in the following 2 days. The biggest concern is the squeky piece is in the nose so I am glad we were on top of the situation and prevented him chocking on it. I know Chewy would have taken it back but it is one of Rafiki's favorite toys despite the missing parts, so we kept it. We have purchased other rope toys but this one is the best and if the "body parts" didn't come off I would have given it 5 Stars
I was so excited when my owner opened the Chewy box she got in the mail. The toy looked like a lot of fun. Like always, with every new toy, I imagine myself playing with it, tossing it up and catching it as it comes back down, retrieving it as it is thrown way out in a big field....and I run as I fast as my legs will go. It seemed really strong like a rope so my owner could pull and pull and never get it away from me. The problem is, the fringe strands of rope. I had those eaten in 2 days. It upset my stomach really bad. I pooped the strings out. Toys shouldn't have loose strands of rope. Toys should be made much more safe. Thank you for listening. Woof woof, Vivi
