This food fixed our cat’s bladder crystals and he lost his extra 2 lbs to get to his goal weight by feeding extra wet food and less dry. We wish there were more varieties of flavors though we understand it is specialty food and that may not be profitable for the company. Our cat would not eat the chicken flavor wet food though he does eat the chicken dry food. Cats, huh!

The tuna flavor is going over better with my cat than the chicken flavor. The product does what it's supposed to and is helping my cat with his FLUTD, but he is extremely fussy and he doesn't love any of the prescription food he's prescribed. He doesn't like the chunks of whatever meat they put in. I think it's pork liver. I try mincing it up but he still eats around the majority of it. The only way I can get him to eat all of it is to sprinkle a little tuna powder on top, which isn't ideal for his condition, but it does get him to eat everything. I wish they'd reformulate it to have less of those chunks though and a stronger tuna flavor.

I find bits of unknown stuff in this food. It is tough and cannot be broken up with a fork. This food is supposed to be pate. My cat will not eat these bits or any food touching it. We were wasting a lot of food until I discovered this in the food. I now mash all food with a fork before feeding it to her. For the price I paid, I would expect better quality control. In the picture you can see how much of the unknown bits I found in one forkful of food. One is quite large.

My cat loves it!

The chicken one was fine, but my cat was not eating as much, but as soon as I introduced the tuna she was a very happy camper!

While I appreciate that this brand is attempting to expand their flavors, my cat was quickly tired of this flavor. Chicken and fish are the only two options that exist, and I had to move to another brand. Also, the price point is extremely high.

My cat was recently put on a prescription diet and is a very picky eater, but he absolutely loves this. He ate almost a whole can in one feeding, which is more than he has ever eaten with any other wet food. He won't touch patte and usually with chunks and gravy he will only eat a few bites of meat and then just lick the gravy off and leave the rest, but he ate almost all the meat too with this. I definitely want to keep some of this on hand always for him to eat in addition to his dry food.

I have nine year old, high strung, food sensitive, sibling cats who developed urinary problems. This is the best food for them right now, although I have to pick out the carrot pieces before giving it to them or they will throw up the carrots. However: they will eat this, which is half the battle, and it does seem to calm them a teensy bit, which I augment with limited Rocco & Roxie calming treats in morning and evening. Fingers crossed we are on the way to better litter box usage and more friendly behavior again. (They also do have the dry kibble of this line available, and they like the Urinary Calm Royal Canin dry, but my vet is a bit prickly about writing scrip for more than one kind of food. I wish vets would just write the scrip for urinary food and that would be enough - or that cat food was just better for cats to begin with so they didn’t develop these problems - but I’m grateful that food and treats can be medicine because giving cats medicine otherwise is not fun.)
