Good product for solving urinary issues

My cat was prescribed this food because he had a urinary blockage and then a urinary infection. After switching over to this food his condition improved and his infection went away and so did the streuvites. My cat seems to enjoy the taste and I did not have a hard time switching him over to it. Shipping was also extremely fast. I did not give it five stars because I don't think the ingredients are as healthy as non-medicated dry cat food is. It's also incredibly expensive.

Healthy cats

I have used this product in the past and wish I had known to use it with my cat, Morris Morris II. He died less than a week after he was diagnosed with urinary problems. I will give this bag to my son who has a new cat to prevent the sadness and cost of dealing with feline urinary problems. His vet has recommended it. I will wait awhile to get another cat, but will definitely order from Chewy and start on this food again.

Cheddar Likes It

Cheddar recently suffered a urinary obstruction, and the vet recommended this food. He's used to eating kibble and transitioned to this nicely. The bowl is empty every morning. I think Chico also likes it. Fuzma, my elderly cat, wants to eat it, but she's got no teeth and ends up spitting it out.

Tasty Prescription Food

I changed from the fish based food to this chicken food and my cats love it. I've always had a problem with finding UTI food in which my cats will eat it. This has been the best so far. All of my cats eats this. Know how I can tell? Because their dish empties quickly!

Hill's Prescription Diet Cat Food

First time to use Chewy.com, very efficient and easy to use. They had just the product I needed in a large quantity which made it cheaper per pound. They contacted the vet for me and let me know how to get the prescription to them. I thought I had made a mistake in ordering and called Chewy . The customer service representative was very helpful and friendly. The product was delivered quickly . A very good experience.

Crazy Cats

For being diet food, my cat and my kitten both love this flavor. Recently, the price skyrocketed on this product. Thank you to Chewy.com for being the least expensive for some thing I don’t have a choice about buying if I want to keep my cat healthy.

Excellent product; great, fast service from Chewy

My UTI-prone cat has had zero problems since we switched him to this product. My only suggestion is that ONE prescription should suffice when ordering the SAME product in different sizes and/or flavors -- I often get messages that you have to contact the vet when I chhose a different flavor. Otherwise -- HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Did cost of product go up because of 'Free Flat Rate' shipping?

I really like this food for my cats. Since we've been using it, no urinary crystals. That being said, to see the cost of the product go up $5+ per bag in the last month is a little aggravating. If the cost of the product is going up to cover the 'Free Flat Rate' shipping, don't advertise it as free freight. Call it what it is and be honest. I'm still going to buy the product for my pets because that is cheaper than vet bills and pain for my furry guys. But I may opt to pay that higher price for food to my vet because they break down what I'm being charged for and not telling me I'm getting 'Free Freight'.. Please do better with the word 'Free', maybe it should be 'Reduced Freight Charge'. Thanks

Chewy Service

We had an ER situation with one of our cats. As a result of the needed surgery, he had to be put on a prescription diet. Hills C/D was one of the recommended diets. We ordered from Chewy. the hospital gave us a small supply to get us by for a few days. the Chewy Box arrived within 2 days of the order. The container was in absolutely perfect shape. The price was lower than going out pet supply houses to get it yourself. We'll continue with Chewy.

For My Urinary Problem Cat

Ever since I started my Persian on this food, he has not had a urinary problem, AND he loves it so much that I put some in a treat bag to fool him and he thinks they are treats...or he could just be amusing me, lol.
