Can you order a case with two different kinds of Hills canned food. Like 6 turkey and 6 chicken and veggies
Answer by ChewyJan 27, 2019
At this time the manufacturer does not offer a variety pack.

How long can this be refridgerated after opening?
Answer by ChewyJan 17, 2021
After opening, canned products should be covered and stored in a refrigerator at 40 to 45 degrees Fahrenheit. In general, refrigerated canned foods should be used within five to seven days after opening. Canned products with high amounts of rice often have separation of water from the other canned product (free water will be seen at the bottom or around the side of the can) within a few days. This separation of water is called syneresis and does not change the nutritional characteristics of the food, but will affect food texture and possibly palatability. Since freezing dramatically changes the texture of canned products and adversely affects palatability, freezing canned pet food is not recommended either before or after opening.

recipe changed?

My senior has been on this food for years and now she won’t eat it. We noticed the consistency changed when we opened our new cases. She goes over to the bowl, smells, and walks away. She’s also been losing weight because she won’t eat this anymore (she’s skipping meals and will only it when she’s starving). We also noticed her GI tract is getting messed up. Pretty irritated with the recipe change.

Reef is a Healthy Dog!

Reef has irritable bowel disease and has suffered a lot from foods that do not agree with his digestive system. This special diet has made him the healthiest and happiest that he has ever been. We use the 12.5 ounce size and the 5.5 ounce, which are so convenient, especially when we travel.

My dog LOVES this food!

Anny goes nuts every time I pull a can out of the pantry! She was put on this diet for intestinal issues that stem from a neglected past. She has healed well with this new diet, and I will continue feeding her this product!

Try this food

This food has helped my Iggy so much. As long as he eats this and takes his meds he does wonderfully. He does like this flavor over some of the other available ones. This is definitely on our auto-ship!

Disappointed

My dog Isis has been on this prescription diet for years. She has refused to eat any of this canned food ever since I started on this case. She eats four small meals a day and for days now I set this out she goes over to eat, smells it and walks away. Thankfully I have the food in dry form also so she is still getting her nutrients.

Delicately Edible

My dog has a funny digestive system. He does very well on this food. He always eats it and it never bothers his belly.
