Great for sensitive tummies
My girl has a sensitive tummy so it’s been very difficult finding a good canned food that didn’t give her diarrhea, but this food works well for her. I’d found other can food before that worked but unfortunately, when I tried to order more of a certain brand/type it was either “out of stock” or no longer available. Sure, it’s prescription, but my girl no longer has diarrhea and she likes it so, if she’s happy, I’m happy.
Dog loves it
After trying all the hydrolyzed protein foods and my dog refusing all of them my vet said to try this. He has IBD. I admit it's not the first choice while diagnosing the disease, but he is thriving on it. I do add a little fresh chicken and rice to keep him interested.
Dog Prefers This Formula
My senior maltipoo was put on this diet several months ago, and I had been buying the standard Digestive Care. I ordered this stew by accident, and she has gobbled it up at every meal. She is not a great eater, so I've been very encouraged by this formulation.
excellent product for my pug
My pug if 2 years old developed mild pancreatitis and I have a picky eater. Since the vet prescribed it, she took to it immediately and finishes it! I know she is getting all the nutrients she needs and lower fat to calm her pancreas. Her diarrhea reresolving and she is feeling better! Thank you for a great product that smells really good!
Stomach prescription food
My gog had pancreatic and was put on prescription dog food for his tumny.. now he just had 7 teeth pulled and a teeth cleaning so he couldn't eat hard food. This canned soft prescription food was awesome. And he loves it!
Wet dog food Substitute
My dogs generally eat the w/d chicken stew. Since it is out of stock , this i/d was recommended by my vet as a substitute. My dogs eat it but I find that there’s more gravy than in the w/d.
My dog loves this.
Our vet switched Pumpkin, our 14-year-old, 6-pound Yorkshire Terrier, to this prescription diet food recently. The gradual transition was easy, and Pumpkin loves her new chicken and vegetable stew. We highly recommend this product for dogs with digestive issues.
Same good food, delivery delayed
Our terrier loves this food. Delivery was delayed a day, we were at a vacation house and luckily the food was delivered in time for the next meal.
Leon's tummy heath has improved since he started eating Rx Diet. The texture is nice and meat-juicy. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that it's a little pricey for me. But Leon is worth it, so he's going to stay with this food.
Veternarian prescribed diet.
My two miniature Dachshunds and my miniature Australian Shepherd were put on this diet for their internal health. The three of them eat the same thing and they never get enough of it according to them. Their skin scratching has subsided. They have regular bowel movements. They no longer have diarrhea. The food is expensive but well worth it when compared to hospital bills for just one of the Miniature Dachshunds.
