  • Great Food - Easy on the Stomach.

    By on

If your dog is having any digestive issues, try this food. It was recommended to us for our dog from the veterinarian. Our dog was having lots of vomiting and diarrhea when she was eating the store-bought food that we gave her. When we switched over to this food that all stopped. We haven't had any problems since. She loves the taste and is easy for her to digest. You can tell by looking at it and by the smell when comparing it to store-bought food, that it is definitely made out of higher quality ingredients. Now I feel good about what I am giving my pet to eat.

  • I thought I could only BUY my vet dog food from my vet!

    By on

I found the same VET FOOD here for my DOG! I thought I always have to BUY it from my vet. I was happy to be able to buy it here. The price is pretty comparable. But I found if I bought 2 12 can flats of the can food I did SAVE $8. So there was a savings there in the can food! I am going to BUY my can vet dog food here! Lots of other things here for my AVIAN pets too!

  • Food prescribed by vet

    By on

This food was prescribed for our elderly dog by our vet. It has very nicely solved her gastrointestinal problems, and although she has always been a very finicky eater, she seems to love this food. I only give 4 stars because it is very expensive to use long-term, as we probably will have to, and because I would prefer some different ingredients.

  • Great for digestive issues, but he doesn’t really like it

    By on

My cockapoo has always had intestinal problems and Prescription Diet I/D in cans helps a lot. But he is not crazy about the turkey version, so I mix in the chicken stew Prescription Diet I/D and he loves it! The only problem is the chicken stew is even more expensive than the turkey.

  • The only thing that helped my dog

I have a 17 year old Chihuahua. He recently developed digestive problems SO bad I was worried we were losing him. The vet prescribed this food and he has been on and acting like a puppy. Chewy is fabulous because it's cheaper here and faster than driving to the vet!

  • He likes it. A lot.

Our senior dog got very sick with gastritis. He was put on the ID dry indefinitely. Since he has his teeth and chews well the wet is just a treat. It's a 5 star product but I gave it a 4 because (I warn you) it smells awful. Not for the weak of heart...err stomach.

My English bulldog had some issues with gastritis and my vet recommended the ID wet food. Big improvement since we switched and she loves it. No more vomiting or diarreah. Chewy shipped very quickly after receiving the prescription from my vet.

  • He has got to eat something

    By on

He liked it the first few days then stopped eating it as is. Mixing in lean cooked chicken breast or some egg whites does the trick so far and he can hold it down.

  • Great for Picky Eaters

    By on

My picky dogs LOVE this food and it is so hard to satisfy even one of them, so the fact that both my Dachshund and my boxer-mix go CRAZY over this food says a lot!
