We’ve ordered food for Princess from Chewy many times and have never had an issue until now. Unfortunately, 4 cans in this order were completely spoiled. When opened, there was visible mold on top of the food and the entire contents were rotten. This is very concerning and not something I’ve experienced before with this product. Please inspect cans carefully before feeding to pets.

We have an 11 yr old Bischon, picky eater, in kidney failure. She gets sub q fluids twice weekly. We tried another brand, she wouldn't touch it. She started to decline, so we ordered the Hills Science diet variety K/D food. She liked the Chicken stew and the Beef stew so we ordered those. It's a little runny for me but I guess she needs all the fluids she can get. She's got more energy and seems to feel better. So happy !

My dog was recently placed on this food. I did not think she would eat it because it smelled like dog food and she had previously been eating freshpet and home cooked meals. She gobbled it up. However the 2nd shipment is late, it was supposed to arrive today and has not shipped yet. I called customer service and they could not even give me a shipping date or and ETA. I run out of this food in 1 day and it is not available in stores.

Phinn loves the vegetable stew. However, when I unloaded the cases, many many of the cans were damaged. Many had dents and some so damaged that the stew was coming out of the cans. Very disappointed. The kibble was fine no problems. He does well eating both.

I ordered a sample kit of the kidney diet and my dog at the kibble and the stews so I placed an order for the full size products and now my dog won't touch any of the food. I'm disappointed because her vet recommended the prescription kidney diet for my dog and now my dog has stopped eating. The food dies have a strong medicine smell so maybe that's what's putting my dog off from eating it. If there's a positive it's that the cat loves it.

My furbaby has stage 2/3 Kidney disease and will eat this most days. She has a very good appetite but can be picky, like a lot of dogs with KD. She has eaten this for most of her meals the past two weeks. We also warm it up to room temp (when pulling from the fridge). She gets a small amount of pumpkin and nonfat yogurt on the side, but we do not mix them.

She ate it because she had to. It took lots of coaxing and pleading to get her to eat some mornings. Even on drugs that were supposed to encourage her to eat she wouldn’t eat this. She lost a considerable amount of weight during her protests. We found a different renal food she does like though. Finally.
