Patrice devoured the “original” Hills l/d liver care, but they have since changed the formula from original to chicken flavor. They still call it original, but it’s not. Very dry and crumbly consistency, original was moist and juicy. She turns her nose up and walks away skinny and hungry. Even if I had enticers, she knows what’s under. This new formula must be more cost effective to make

Hannah is not a real fan of canned dog food. With this said, the food must be tasty! She has two unique health issues. Kidney Care and now Liver Care. I have the dry Kidney Care k/d kibble and will add the canned Liver Care l/d as a blended meal. I was concerned she would scoff at the Liver Care. I'm happy this will work out and hopefully help address her health needs and keep my girl healthy and happy for many more years to come!

Our pug didn’t show liver issues until he was 3. Vet diagnosed with undersized liver with a shunt. Red meats of any sort is toxic & causes ammonia to build up which could result in seizures. Hills L/D is a piece of successful medical management. We have decided against surgery due to risks.

This is the second time with the delivery where I have received dented cans, and I have serious concern as to the integrity of the contentsof these cans. Eight cans in that order were dented enough that I can’t stack them on top of one another and then the order before this one two of themwere opened because of all the denting visibly opened

My dog has "severe liver issues" and the vet wants her on this food. - which my dog wants ZERO part of. I originally bought this food to make the dry food of the same brand - more palatable to my furbaby. That would also be a "NO". She hates them both. I trust my vet 10.000% - so I am sure the food is excellent - I just don't know how to get my dog to agree with that assessment. - At the vet's suggestion I have added cooked chicken - which she happily eats - while ignoring the kbble - so - I can't really say this food is doing what I need it to...............

Not happy by the lack of customer service dealing with Lesley P. I did ask for a supervisor, but was told it would be bet 24-48 hours before I hear anything. I NEED this due to my having Cushings disease, and needing special food and meds, which was not delivered yet. My dog has a fatal disease, and it is so important that she has her meds and food. Not happy!!!

It seems to be tasty enough, my dog has no problem cleaning her bowl. I am following the feeding instructions, but she still seems hungry. She is just under 12 pounds and I am feeding her 1/3 can in the morning and 1/3 can in the evening. Is there a treat that works with the l/d food?
