The only thing that solved the problem
By Laura on Apr 8, 2021
This food worked like a miracle! Our 2-year-old spinone-doodle has suffered from malodorous, soft stools and room-clearing gas his whole life. We had tried about 6 different foods without success. Recently we became desperate after he had a round of antibiotics and his stools became nothing but mush. After a negative stool test, I decided to give this a go and am SO happy I did. After 1 week on this food, his stools are now normal and formed with no more terrible gas! He was reluctant to eat it at first but took to it eventually. My only wish is that it was more affordable.

Not the solution we were looking for
By HEPap on Mar 9, 2021
Our 1.5 year old silver lab has had a sensitive stomach from the beginning but is a voracious eater and is NOT picky. She had antibiotics, chicken/rice, etc for various issues. Tried her on all kinds of really high-quality foods, but the ones that worked we were told weren’t good for her (too high in protein). She was doing well on another food that had limited ingredients and a probiotic, but was having 4-5 poops a day, mostly soft. The vet suggested Hill’s and within two days of transitioning, our extremely active, happy & friendly beauty is lethargic. She eats and within an hour or so seems exhausted and just wants to lie around. Finally, solid stools!!
By Charlie on Mar 6, 2021
After many many months, in which we tried a hydrolyzed diet trial, OTC digestion support foods, pre/probiotics, antibiotics, steroids, weekly injections, and more, this food has finally solved my dog’s soft stool and inappetence issues!! Charlie has had a poor appetite all 6 years of her life and inconsistent stool quality no matter what she’s been fed. But she absolutely loves this food and her stools were completely normal within 24 hours! I ordered some of the canned food as well, anticipating a lack of interest (she loves canned food but is a big dog and it’s impractical to feed only canned). To my surprise, I haven’t really had to use the canned food and she is even willing to take the kibble After many many months, in which we tried a hydrolyzed diet trial, OTC digestion support foods, pre/probiotics, antibiotics, steroids, weekly injections, and more, this food has finally solved my dog’s soft stool and inappetence issues!! Puppy Diarrhea has resolved !!!!
By Christy on Mar 31, 2021
I have a 6 month old English Cream Golden Retriever. She has had puppy diarrhea since the day I brought her home from the breeder. She has been on multiple rounds of Flagyl, probiotic, another Rx food and had so many tests. Finally.., we made the switch to Hills Microbiome and she is finally doing great without any medication. I would definitely recommend this food!!!

Would recommend
By JQnapa on Apr 7, 2021
My cavalier had loose stools . I didn’t know if it was due to the kibble i had her on or because as a puppy she is eating green plants from the back yard. My vet suggested we ‘reset’ her GI tract with this food and a probiotic. Her stool is now normal. I discontinued the probiotic and left her on the food. Stool is still good.

Worth a try
By Obiwan on Mar 4, 2021
Our vet recommended this prescription diet as a last-ditch effort to quell our elderly Labradoodle’s persistent diarrhea. We had already tried antibiotics, probiotics, bland diet (chicken and rice), chicken-free diet, and doggie Kaopectate - all with no improvement. So we tried Hill’s and although it is far from a cure, there is improvement. Without getting too graphic, after a couple of weeks our dog’s poop is pick-up-able, kind of a gelled goop, no longer watery soup. Definitely an improvement.

Changed my dog
By HappyPuppy on Apr 4, 2021
My dog has had gastro issues since he swallowed a sock at 6 months and had to have his intestines cut open. He's 5. We've tried everything but he always has diarrhea. This changed his poop immediately! It's normal and you can tell he feels so much better!

Amazing! No more diarrhea!!!
By CeCe on Feb 19, 2021
Our cavalier King Charles Spaniel has IBD and had problems with diarrhea from 3 months old on. After numerous trips to the vet and many courses of Metronidazole and switching foods, her diarrhea would temporarily go away only to come right back. Our vet switched her to Hills Science Diet Biome and within 24 hours, the diarrhea was gone! She’s been on Biome for 6 months and has not had to be on any medication. This food has been the answer to our prayers!!!

Finally hard poops
By Lifesaver on Mar 27, 2021
My dog was having wet poops and it sucked. My vet recommended this and I changed both of my dogs to it so it would be easier come feeding time. They are both happy and no more wet poops. Yay!

Finally a food she can eat
By Jude on Mar 3, 2021
My English bulldog has a dicey tummy. As she’s gotten older it’s gotten worse. My vet suggested this and there was an immediate difference. Nice big plumpy poops and a happy dog. I am so relieved. It’s pricey, but completely worth it.
