Amazing! No more diarrhea!!!
By CeCe on Feb 19, 2021
Our cavalier King Charles Spaniel has IBD and had problems with diarrhea from 3 months old on. After numerous trips to the vet and many courses of Metronidazole and switching foods, her diarrhea would temporarily go away only to come right back. Our vet switched her to Hills Science Diet Biome and within 24 hours, the diarrhea was gone! She’s been on Biome for 6 months and has not had to be on any medication. This food has been the answer to our prayers!!!

No more loose stool
By Tankattack on Jan 14, 2021
My 7month old GSD was having pretty bad diarrhea for couple days. Nothing has changed on his diet but it was so bad I took him to vet and ran some test. Thankfully, blood test and stool sample result came out all normal, however, medicine didnt help the diarrhea too much. So I did some research and found out about this kibbles that lot of pet owners got great result from it. First, I fasted him for 24 hours and started him on Bland diet. Just white rice (long grain is less sticky) and chopped cooked chicken breast. He showed some progress with it. I slowly increase the amount and on fifth day of bland diet, I start adding this kibble to it. The day after starting this kibbles, there was a significant change in his stool!! Day two on this kibble, I saw a beautiful stool from my boy. I am still going to monitor how he does it, but so far it was worth the money buying this food. You do need an authorization from your vet in order to purchase this. Once chewy receives it from vet, they ship it right away. I received mine in two days. Thank you to chewy as well for fast communication and delivery. Hope this review helps other pet owners who are having similar problems. … more

BEST FOOD FOR HEALTHY DIGESTION!
By Susan on Jan 27, 2021
I have been searching for 2.5 years for a food to stop diarrhea and loose stools in my English Bulldog. I have tried it ALL, including other prescription foods. THIS one finally did the trick and my bulldog and I are very happy!!!! She now has very firm, perfectly formed stools which has helped her bottom immensely! I highly recommend this food for other dogs with sensitive digestive systems.

Finally a food she can eat
By Jude on Mar 3, 2021
My English bulldog has a dicey tummy. As she’s gotten older it’s gotten worse. My vet suggested this and there was an immediate difference. Nice big plumpy poops and a happy dog. I am so relieved. It’s pricey, but completely worth it.

Great for boxer colitis
By Byron on Mar 1, 2021
In combination with low dose antibiotics, this works great for our 1 year old boxer with chronic boxer colitis. Only downside is how expensive it is and he is a big dog. Would want to see Hill's sell probiotic supplements as well.

Wow - what a difference - highly recommend
By BlazesDad on Feb 7, 2021
Small intestine surgery on my Golden puppy caused him to have problems with soft stools. At 18 months, it was thought this could be a lifelong side effect. The Hills Prescription Biome Diet feels like a minor miracle. I'm so pleased with this product and am happy to recommend it.

Bi O Me a Bag
By SargeBoy on Dec 18, 2020
Tried many bags for our fur babie's sensitive stomach and a few work for a while. Since this has special attention to probiotics and gastro care we gave it a try and saw very firm results within a day or two. The only concern was he went 3 sometimes 4 a day. Seem like exact opposite of the diarrhea days just solid poo. No complaints though he was going, not straining n no mess. I didn't notice the high fiber content which explains the frequency. This may have tapered off but we completed the first bag and during the 2nd bag weaned him onto another brand RCVDGLF that is working great too. I would highly recommend HPDG Biome but do consider your dog's age and your lifestyle since the high fiber Tried many bags for our fur babie's sensitive stomach and a few work for a while. So thankful!!
By Lori on Dec 12, 2020
After my pup's sporadic bouts every so often of loose and frequent bowel movements, I was getting desperate to find what the culprit was. I researched Hill's for any Prescription Diet products for the problem we were experiencing, and VOILA- Gastrointestinal Biome appeared! My vet checked for parasites in the stool, and there were none, and did a complete blood panel to make sure nothing else was going on, and there was nothing, so diet became the focus. She had no experience with the Gastrointestinal Biome, but like me, had read all the glowing reviews of the wonderful response the beautiful four leggeds were having, so was anxious for my feedback. The response was immediate! I started seeing much better bowel movements, and she seemed so much happier! She had never shown any signs of not feeling well during the times she had issues, but now she just seems so much spunkier! Her diet is now totally the Gastrointestinal Biome, and will continue to be. The results have been worth the price of admission. Thank you, Hill's, for figuring out how to fix what ails our family members. … more

Literally saved my dog!!
By Kelly on Feb 2, 2021
This food literally saved my dog! It’s the only food my sweet dog Atlas can keep down and gives him normal poops without blood! Gross I know but it was a huge battle I’m so thankful we won! He had lost so much weight I really thought we might lose him. I’m not overly impressed with the ingredients but if he’s healthy I’m happy!! Thank you science diet!!! & thank you Chewy for a quick and painless vet check process and as always a speedy delivery!!

Food works great
By GrumpyGutDogMom on Jan 9, 2021
Food has seemed to help our grumpy gut dog turn the corner. Even with the I/D low-fat dry food, she would still have an “incident” with her gut about once a week. Now she’s been going strong for a couple of months and seems much happier! Only complaint is that the bag Velcro fastener isn’t as good as the other style dry food bag, and sometimes I find it didn’t close tightly.
