I wanted to try something more natural for 2 of my 8 cats. (Can’t afford to feed this to all of them twice a day!) Mainly because one has become very picky about eating and was a little to think for my liking. The other one had major fur issues. He had mats galore and will not let me groom him. My picky eater now eats and my fur problem kitty, is no longer a problem. His fur is shiny, soft and mat free!

I have a Snowshoe, Bengal/tabby, tuxedo, and torbi. Mixed ages and genders. All indoor. ALL with their own picky preferences. After the 1st try, and since then (only a week now), THEY ALL LOVE IT. As suggested, I'm introducing slowly with other food (canned & dry). As long as it is healthy for them, I will continue to buy it!

Finally a species appropriate food for my babies. Amazing that a pet food manufacturer is finally on board with feeding felines, who are strict carnivores, food that is so easy and convenient as the non species appropriate food( Dry or canned). Raw has the enzymes our cats need to digest and absorb the nutrients they NEED to live long and disease free lives. If your kitty says no to this please don't give up. It's just different in texture and taste. Try mixing small amount with old food and gradually add more. All mine are now eating this as well as different brands for a rotation diet. This can be fed dry in the beginning if your kitty eats dry food.

This product is very expensive, I was hoping that my cat with a very sensitive stomach would keep it down but unfortunately the $ spent came flying out of his mouth. Just an older cat with a special need diet & sadly this expensive product did not meet his needs.

My kitten loves the Instinct brand canned food, but he's less thrilled about these nuggets. That's not to say he won't eat it, because he will, but sometimes he needs some encouragement from the other cat in the house (i.e. if the other cat starts to eat it). I purchased for the nutrition benefits (regular store-bought dry food severely inflames my poor kitten's mouth) and because it's not as smelly as canned food, but maybe that's why my kitten is less interested? Perhaps re-hydrating with a cat-safe chicken broth would make it more appetizing? I'll see how he takes to it after a week or so, I might have to switch back to the Instinct canned variety. For the health of my cats, I have switched to raw. I initially tried Nature's Variety frozen version, but like the freeze-dried much better. Quick and convenient to prepare and my cats like it.

Cat's like raw meat. But that is difficult to deliver safely. Nature's Instinct have nailed it. Freeze dried raw meat with all the trimmings as though the cat had killed the animal in the wild with the contents of it's stomach containing vegetables. Cat's need meat, and in the wild will consume some vegetables inadvertently due to the contents of their prey's stomach. This product takes all that into consideration. My kitty devours it and has shown better muscle tone and attitude.

I got my kitten when she was 4 months, she'll be one year next week. I've tried probably 6 or 7 different foods and all gave her digestive and skin issues. She's been on this food fully for 5 days now and it is the first she has had normal digestion! Skin is clearing! Fur is softer! Kitty VERY HAPPY. And she is absolutely nuts about the taste too! I didn't want to have to go raw because my cat and I travel often, so this is a perfect solution!

I've been trying to transition my boys to a raw diet with limited success. That is until I found Instinct's freeze dried nuggets. The immediately loved them so much so, that I have to hide the bag or they will break it open. It's simple to use, just add some water and serve. I use it along with wet food. Excellent ingredients and my boys are happy. Highly recommended

We've been feeding our dogs raw for 8+ years. When we adopted a kitten in July 2017, we had no clue how to feed him raw. We love all of the Instinct line (although we wish there were fewer unneeded veggies and fruits) and just tried the nuggets this month. This is awesome for pre-measured servings!
