We use a special vacuum infusion process to lock more fat (energy) into our products. We replace the air in the kibble with fat, forcing nutrient-rich oils to permeate the kibble without making it greasy. Unlike in standard pet food production, nutrients stay deep within the kibble, creating a clean, dry, nutritious food with a high level of healthy fats. This process also makes our food more dense, crunchy, and abrasive while chewing, promoting healthy gums and teeth.

Absolutely. Because our three ingredient decks are very similar, dogs can easily graduate or switch between formulas when necessary. Make sure that the formula you pick is right for your dog, their lifestyle and activity level. Please make sure to follow the feeding guidelines located on the back of the bag, especially when switching to our 32/32 formulation.

We pair this Chicken Meal with locally sourced Atlantic herring, a rich source of complementary amino acids and omega-3’s. We choose meals over fresh meat and by-products so that you can be assured that the dietary protein is coming from meat sources, rather than vegetables or grains.

Supplements and toppers are not necessary when feeding Inukshuk. Inukshuk Professional Dog Food is formulated to meet the nutritional levels established by the AAFCO Dog Food Nutrient Profiles. This means our formulas are designed to be complete and balanced, containing all the nutrition and essential vitamins a dog needs for a typical, healthy, active lifestyle. Individual dietary needs or preferences that lead to Inukshuk being part of a dietary regiment containing other foods, is ultimately up to the consumer to decide.

An unopened bag of Inukshuk Dog Food should be stored in a cool, dry location, out of direct sunlight. An open bag of Inukshuk should be able to be folded and clipped shut, taking care to remove as much air as possible from the bag.
