Great food!

My Doberman puppy wasn't eating great so I decided to try this food. She is eating so much better since switching! The company says that this food is appropriate for large breed puppies but does not list puppy feeding guidelines on the bag or on their website. I sent the company an email and they promptly sent me the needed guidelines. Great customer service from Inukshuk and Chewy!

Good ingredients but not so great taste

Haha nuad high hopes for this food to put weight on my girl post whelp. I Liked the ingredients and had heard good things. She wouldn’t touch it. It has a weird smell. So I tired it with my Other 2 dogs and puppy and none would eat it. Super sad as it’s expensive and it had the fat content I really Need but I will stick with ProPlan Sport.

Quality Food

I was a hardcore Purina Pro Plan feeder for several years because it was the best food for all of my dogs. However that all changed when I brought home one of dogs. He is a finicky eater, hard keeper, and was a total mystery. I tried all the tricks to get him to gain 2-3 pounds and eat consistently. So I started looking into Inukshuk. I liked the ingredients, kcal per cup, and the reviews have been great. I decided to give it a chance. Boy, am I glad I did! My boy looks phenomenal and finishes every meal without hesitation!

pup won’t eat!

I have a thin 10 month old working Australian shepherd I have been trying to put weight on. This food was suggested to me by multiple people so I was confident this was the right choice. I’ve offered my dog this food mixed in with her normal food for the past four meals and she has REFUSED to even sniff it. I finally gave her a bowl of just her old food to see if she would eat it and she scarfed it down immediately. I was so optimistic this would be perfect for us with all the good reviews, but it’s just not working out. :(

Seems good so far

Food seems good so far, haven’t noticed a negative change in our pups after feeding for a bit. Smells rich in herring and my non picky, not extremely active dogs like it. I was concerned about feeding them this food since it’s made for performance dogs but after figuring out how much to feed for my dogs metabolism, i’ve had no problems but like i said i’ve only been feeding it for about a week and a half.

Great for feeding in a bowl or as treats!

The composition of this food is so different from most kibbles, they are smooth and not crumbly at all which make them perfect for using for training treats without getting crumbs everywhere. My agility border collie is doing great on it and I am very happy with the feed as a whole and will be reordering.

Excellent Quality Food for Non-Picky Eaters

My puppy was raised on Inukshuk 30/25 and I've continued to feed him it. Four months old now and he's growing well, very healthy stool, and his coat is shiny and soft. He's a major food lover, so he gobbles it down readily. However attempts to switch my older Xolo to it have not gone well, she seems actively grossed out by the flavor and will spit it out immediately. So great for those that like it, not so much for picky eaters.

an amazing dog food

i love this dog food a lot, it's helped my dogs poop, it's also not crumbly like my last dog food so it's a lot easier to use for training.

Hype Faded

At first this food seemed like a godsend, but then the honeymoon faded away. My shepherd works hard almost all day, he has some lazy bouts but the boy loves to be active. His weight is constantly in question, even his vet has discovered how intense his metabolism is. Well, we decided to give this food a try and had high hopes. For the first few months, we noticed some bulk, but then it started to slowly just vanish. He now gets 6 cups of this food and not a single difference in weight, he's shedding worse than ever before. I decided to have his vet contact a nutritionist and they weren't happy with the food. "Lots of fillers in this, really wouldn't recommend". I also posted it in a few dog food groups and they too didn't even suggest this food. It almost made me feel bad for trying it, I still dont know if it's just my dog that this isn't working for. This kibble didn't even make a top feeding list and with that, Im reluctantly writing this so maybe if anyone else isn't experiencing the 5-star benefits, you aren't alone. We bought a second bag just to see if anything at all changed, nope. You can still see his hips and he's started to act like he's not getting fed enough. His shedding is now super ridiculous even with 2 desheds a month and a soak. He's not a picky dog and has never been but now he's just nosing pieces around and eating smaller amounts. His stools aren't very solid, more loose, dark cause of the food. Vet checked him over and he's cleared of any issues, they concluded it's the food. My boy is a healthy 5-year-old shepherd, lean but muscular and fit. Back to the drawing board.
