Good "puppy" pad for cat that doesn't like the roughness of most litter
on Jan 25, 2018
Mitty is a 4-year-old polydactyl cat (w/ extra toes like Ernest Hemingway's cats) His paws are super sensitive so for that reason he usually prefers puppy pads. Regular litter is too rough for him--we used to use "World's Best" natural corn litter--he doesn't like to dig in it & didn't cover after using it. This puppy training pad fits a standard litter box perfectly. The ones in most stores are too big & usually have to be cut in half. Even with the smaller ones in stores there is a lot of wasted surface. We have 2 litter boxes side by side--1 box with a puppy pad in it next to another box with "Okocat Super Soft Clumping Wood Litter" in it (the box with a pink stripe around the bottom). Good deal and product

I like these pads and they are great for potty training my Pomeranian that can't really go outside right now, I live in Wisconsin so it is too cold for a 2 lb puppy right now. My only issue with them is size. I knew based on the description they were smaller pads but they are even smaller than I expected. I'm not sure how well these would do for a medium or larger dog, my sheltie probably would have an issue with using them if she were so inclined. I recommend the brand and press quality but if you have a larger dog you might want to get the next size up.
Great Price, but Plastic Sweats...
on Dec 28, 2017
Love the price. Love the absorbancy. Love the smaller size and love that they are white, not blue, like the competing brands. Also love that they don't contain the attractant. Now....the sweating..isn't this true of all piddle pads? What I do to combat this is put a couple of paper towels under the pad. I've had to do this with the three other brands I've used, so what I'm really saying here is that it's time for someone to invent Next Level pee pee pads! All in all, it's a great pad for people don't like blue pads and who prefer a smaller size!
Not worth it

I switched to these from the PetSmart ones. I have a 10 lb shih tzu and they did not absorb anything. In fact, the floor was so wet underneath of them that it dripped through my floors. It was like nothing was there at all. I even doubled up on them until I could go buy new ones and still had the same issue. I took them off my auto ship immediately.

I accidentally clicked the wrong size...Needed bigger ones... Tried layering/doubling them, but she didn't like that for some reason...Set in her ways I guess... Kind of a waste for me...Live and learn... :(

We bought these to go with the pad holder. They work great in the pad holder.. we do not use the holder, but the pads still work great. They absorb a lot better than any others that I have used before.
Cost effective option

I'm using these as part of retraining a cat who was peeing outside of her litter box, and they are sufficient for my purpose.
Took a chance

I took a chance on getting a cheaper brand. I need something that'll not just protect my floors but hold the smell. This does just that.
