Purrfect!
I bought this for my skinny senior cat who has been desperately trying to stay warm by seeking our laps at all hours of the day. When he would climb on us, he radiated no body warmth--like a stuffed toy. He immediately took to this bed and is so much more comfortable. And still comes out for cuddles, except he actually feels alive now. The temperature of the bed is a little wamer than a lap. I get joy everytime I see him in it because I know he's comfortable.
fleas
I bought several beds for my indoor cats, two heated, two self warming, and a bed sack for my two indoor cats. Now I'm battling fleas in my home. Perhaps a coincidence, but I don't think so. If you purchase a cat bed please be sure to wash it before you use it! My cats both like this bed.
GREAT
Bought this for my three kitties to try out so they would sleep somewhere other than right on top of me at night. They have all been taking turns napping in it but fight over it sometimes. I will be buying another one! They all love it! 10/10
Cat says nope
This is a decent bed, however I was bummed there was no off switch or timer. I should have read description better. My cat refuses to use it. She's under 10 lbs and pretty petite. This bed doesn't allow her to stretch much. I already washed it or I would send it back. All in all, pretty bummed.

Loves his new hideaway

Great bed!
We have two new cats in the house. I bought it for the newest cat, as he was looking for dark places to hide and sleep when we brought him home. As it turns out, his brother has claimed it and likes to hang out and nap. The dangly ball is unnecessary and I will likely remove it. And I'll probably need to get a second one for the other cat. Overall great product! I've been using K&H pet beds for years and they're always a hit with our cats.
My cat's favorite spot
It took a week before my daughter's cat (I'm cat sitting for 6 months) would venture all the way inside, tempted by treats. I was on the verge of returning it when it all of a sudden the cat cave became her go to spot. On cooler days I plug it in and it becomes a snuggly cave for her to lounge in and watch the world go by on our screen in patio (now called the "catio"). On warm days, I don't bother plugging it in and it is still her favorite little hidey hole. A few treats randomly hidden inside are probably helping :-) but she will sit in it literally for hours.
A must for snowy days
I opened the package, plugged it in and within an hour one of my cats was snuggled inside. I expected the smaller of our two cats to want it, but our slightly larger (12#) cat has claimed it as his. I debated buying two initially but was afraid based on mixed reviews. Within an hour of him enjoying it, I had already jumped online to Chewy and bought a second one. Our cat currently claiming this as his on this snowy day is about 12 pounds. He has room inside to move around at this size but not a lot. I would be cautious of buying this for larger sized or breed cats. Also, we may have to cut the toy off as he was standing with it resting on his head. For a young kitten that might be a fun perk but for our cats it might be more of a nuance to them. The quality is nice. I love the ability to disassemble and clean as needed.
Great heated bed
My cats just love this bed. I put a towel over the opening with just enough opening for the cats to get in, because they really like caves. The heat is at a low level, but effective for them. I put the hanging pompon out of the way, but I have one cat who loves to play with it, so it seems to depend on the cat whether you like that feature or not.
